What TANCET counselling 2025 covered
Anna University’s TANCET 2025 brochure identifies MBA and MCA as the programmes admitted through TANCET. The covered institution types included Anna University departments and regional or constituent institutions, Annamalai University, government and government-aided colleges, and self-financing colleges in Tamil Nadu.
The registration notice concerned counselling for admission to these programmes, not registration to sit the TANCET examination.

Anna University reported 38,301 candidates for the combined TANCET/CEETA-PG 2025 examinations, with 40 examination centres in 15 cities across Tamil Nadu. That figure is not a count of MBA/MCA counselling registrants, nor is it a TANCET-only candidate total.
