Telstra’s official deals page currently lists code PROMO for $120 off an eligible Upfront Basic Mobile Plan over 12 months, for new services. Telstra says to enter a code during cart review and check that the discount appears before checkout. Offers have individual eligibility rules and deadlines, so this code is not a blanket discount for every Telstra product.
Current Telstra promo code and offer examples
Telstra’s Best Deals & Special Offers page is the place to check for live promotions. Its categories include mobile, internet, devices, accessories, entertainment, business and Telstra Plus. The following offers appeared on the page when checked on 8 October 2026; confirm their status and terms on Telstra’s live page before ordering.

These examples are different kinds of promotions: a checkout code, a product discount tied to a new service, and a Telstra Plus points redemption. Do not assume a code applies to a device or plan unless its terms say so. Telstra’s Deals on Mobile Phones page provides additional device-deal context and redemption information.
How to apply a Telstra promo code
- Open the offer’s terms on Telstra’s official deals page and check that your service, plan or product meets its eligibility conditions.
- Select the eligible product or plan and add it to your cart.
- At cart review, enter the code in the promotional-code field. Telstra’s page says: “To redeem a promotional promo code, choose an eligible product or plan and add it to your cart to start the checkout process.”
- Confirm the cart displays the discount and review the price, duration and any ongoing service charges before paying.
Telstra says there are three entry attempts before the code becomes invalid. If it is rejected, recheck the spelling and offer eligibility rather than repeatedly submitting guesses.

What to check before choosing an offer
- Eligibility: Is it for a new customer, a new service, or both? Does it require a specific plan or an additional service?
- Total value: Compare the full saving across the promotional period, not only a monthly headline amount.
- Price afterward: Check the standard charge once the promotional rate or included period ends.
- Deadline: Confirm when the code must be used or the offer ends; the live listing can change.
- Points or commitments: Check whether redemption uses Telstra Plus points and whether an ongoing subscription or service is involved.
For the mobile PROMO example, the headline saving is spread across 12 months, and the price can change after that period. For the Starlink offer, the kit discount depends on taking a new Satellite Home Internet service, so the kit price alone does not show the full cost of the deal. For Device Security, include the points cost and the subscription terms in your comparison.
