What was the TNPSC Group II 2024 application deadline?
TNPSC dated Notification No. 8/2024 to 20 June 2024. It set 19 July 2024 at 11:59 p.m. as the last date to submit an online application. That deadline has passed, so candidates cannot apply now under this notification.

TNPSC’s official notifications index lists the 2024 notice and its application period. The notification itself is available as an official PDF: Notification No. 8/2024.
What was the 2024 application process?
For that recruitment cycle, TNPSC instructed candidates to use its One Time Registration (OTR) platform first if they were not already registered, then submit the examination application through the TNPSC examination portal, tnpscexams.in. Those links describe the route specified for the closed 2024 application; they are not evidence of an open application period.

The correction window was separate from the application deadline and did not extend it. TNPSC set it from 24 July 2024 at 12:01 a.m. through 26 July 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
The preliminary examination was scheduled for 14 September 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The notification said the main-examination date would be announced after preliminary results. TNPSC’s indexes later record the Group IIA main examination on 8 February 2025. The Examination and Answer Keys index contains records for the cycle.

- Find the latest notice for the relevant Combined Civil Services examination and confirm its group, application dates, eligibility requirements, and any correction-window terms.
- Follow the application instructions and portal links in that notice. Do not rely on the expired 2024 dates or assume that the old link accepts applications for a new cycle.
TNPSC states in the 2024 notice that admission to examination stages is provisional and subject to eligibility conditions; applying or taking an examination does not by itself confer a right to appointment.
