Ray J no longer owns shares in Raycon, according to the company’s March 6, 2024 announcement. Raycon said he left his officer role and fully divested through a company buyback. That statement does not identify the company’s current controlling owner, so Ray Lee or another company should not be described as the sole owner based on it alone.
Who owns Raycon now?
Raycon’s ultimate current owner or controlling parent is not established by the available primary sources. The company confirmed Ray J’s departure and share buyback, but did not disclose the buyer’s identity, the resulting ownership percentages, or the buyback price.
Raycon is a consumer technology brand whose official About Us page highlights products including Everyday Earbuds. It also says Raycon has served 3 million customers; that is the company’s own claim, not an independently verified count.
What happened to Ray J’s ownership?
Ray J and Ray Lee co-founded Raycon. A company biography included in a 2023 SEC filing says Ray J co-founded Raycon Global in 2017. Raycon’s March 6, 2024 announcement said Ray J was stepping away as an officer and shareholder and had fully divested his shares through a company buyback.

The announcement described the decision as mutual and identified Ray Lee as CEO at that time. Lee said, “We are excited for what the future holds for both Ray J and Raycon. Our paths may diverge, but our mutual respect and admiration for each other’s work remain steadfast. At Raycon, we’re focused on designing great tech for all of our customers.” This dated statement does not establish Lee’s current title or ownership stake.
Is GoDigital Media Group Raycon’s owner?
A June 12, 2026 LegalClarity article says GoDigital Media Group acquired Raycon on March 19, 2024. That is a secondary-source claim; the primary company announcement and filing evidence available here do not corroborate it. Treat the alleged acquisition as unconfirmed rather than a settled account of Raycon’s ownership.

What the ownership record does—and doesn’t—tell you
- Ray J’s exit as a shareholder is confirmed by Raycon’s dated announcement.
- The company did not name the buyback purchaser or disclose ownership percentages, transaction value, or a valuation.
- Ray Lee’s identification as CEO in March 2024 does not prove that he owns Raycon outright.
- The alleged GoDigital deal needs primary confirmation before it can establish the current parent or controlling owner.
Raycon’s official brand history and its historical marketplace announcement describe the company’s consumer-audio business, but neither resolves its current ownership. The SEC-filed biography is useful for the 2017 co-founding history, not for a current ownership breakdown.
