At the SHIB supply Etherscan displayed in its search snapshot, $1 per token would imply a market capitalization of about $589.24 trillion.
What did the headline claim—and who made the prediction?
TechBullion published the article on December 8, 2024. Its headline says a “Crypto CEO” revealed when SHIB would reach $1 and that WLTQ would touch $100 before Dogecoin. The article’s searchable text attributes the predictions to a “leading crypto CEO,” but does not name that person. Without a verifiable identity or direct attribution, the forecasts should be treated as claims made by the article, not as a confirmed prediction from an identified expert. TechBullion’s article is also dated, so its bullish wording is not a current market update.
Can Shiba Inu reach $1?
A token can trade at a particular price in principle, but whether a $1 SHIB price is plausible depends in part on how many tokens are circulating and the market value investors would need to assign to them. Etherscan identifies SHIB as an ERC-20 token at contract address 0x95ad61b0a150d79219dcf64e1e6cc01f0b64c4ce. Its search-result snapshot, crawled approximately four months before October 8, 2026, displayed approximately 589.24 trillion SHIB in circulating supply. What $1 would mean in market capitalization
Market capitalization is commonly calculated as token price multiplied by circulating supply. Using Etherscan’s displayed supply as the assumption, the arithmetic is:

This is a conditional calculation, not a price forecast. Coin Bureau made the same approximate calculation in an article dated May 4, 2026, and characterized the target as mathematically implausible at that supply. A bold target is not useful on its own. Before relying on one, check whether the person making it is identified, whether the statement is directly attributable, and whether the assumptions behind the target can be tested.

- Verify the source and date. A forecast in a December 2024 article is not a current market update. Look for a named speaker and a direct, dated statement rather than repeating an unnamed attribution.
- Check the supply assumption. For a token price target, multiply the target price by a dated circulating-supply figure to understand the implied market capitalization. Supply figures can change.
- Separate arithmetic from prediction. An implied valuation explains what a target entails; it does not show that the target will occur or assign it a probability.
- Look for evidence of demand and project status. A promotional price claim alone does not establish token utility, sustained demand, current listings, or comparable fundamentals.
- Distinguish promotion from independent support. A presale or promotional framing is not proof that a project or price forecast is sound.
