The pricing page reviewed on October 8, 2026 lists a 24-month plan with three additional months, for 27 months total. Its displayed savings also vary by tier: 85% for Starter and One, and 79% for One+. The introductory totals shown are $67.23, $75.33, and $121.23, respectively, before any applicable VAT.
What Surfshark’s current offer includes
Surfshark’s pricing page displays 1-month, 12-month, and 24-month plan options. The long-term promotion adds three months to the 24-month purchase, making the advertised introductory period 27 months—not 36 months. Surfshark’s subscription information also lists 1-month, 12-month, and 24-month subscriptions.
The figures below are the US-dollar amounts displayed on Surfshark’s pricing page when it was accessed October 8, 2026. They are vendor promotional prices, not independently audited savings or a guarantee of the total at every checkout. Surfshark says VAT may apply and that prices can vary with currency, VAT, and coupons.
| Tier | Displayed saving | Displayed monthly figure | Displayed charge for first 27 months |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 85% | $2.49 | $67.23 |
| One | 85% | $2.79 | $75.33 |
| One+ | 79% | $4.49 | $121.23 |
These savings percentages are Surfshark’s displayed claims; they are not a uniform 80% discount across all three tiers. Compare the final checkout total for your market and currency rather than choosing by the percentage alone.

What happens when the introductory term ends
Surfshark says its 2-year plan is charged once at the beginning and then billed annually after it expires. That means the initial charge covers the promotional period, while the later billing cadence is annual. The pricing page reviewed does not state one universal renewal price, so check the renewal amount shown in your account or at checkout before purchasing. The vendor’s page says: “Surfshark offers monthly, 1-year, and 2-year subscriptions, and all of them are billed differently.” A live promotion and its terms can change.
How to choose between Starter, One, and One+
All three bundles include VPN service. The pricing page also lists features such as Alternative ID, scam protection, Antivirus, Alert, identity theft coverage, and Incogni data removal. Which extras are included depends on the tier, and some are restricted by location: Surfshark describes identity theft coverage as available to US residents except those in New York State, and Incogni availability for residents of the US, UK, EU, Switzerland, and Canada. Check the feature list and eligibility for your location on the selected plan before paying.

Surfshark says paid plans allow unlimited simultaneous device connections. Its pricing page lists apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, Android TV, Apple TV, and Fire TV devices, plus Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browser extensions. It also describes router connections and manual setup. A router is an optional way to configure VPN use, not a required purchase for the subscription.
