PerthNow reported that more than 600 people gathered outside for the launch, with some arriving as early as 5am. The gallery captures the crowd and celebration marking the beauty retailer’s third Perth store at the time.
Inside the October 12, 2023 opening
The opening morning brought a crowd to Westfield Carousel as Sephora added a southern Perth location. PerthNow described the store as the retailer’s third in Perth and 28th Australian site at that time; those are historical counts, not current totals.
According to PerthNow’s opening coverage, the celebration included live music, coffees, sweet treats and free samples. A ribbon cutting and sparklers marked the launch after some attendees had waited outside from 5am.

The photographs document attendees and the opening-day atmosphere. Captions identify Em Davies, Gracie Piscopo, Aisha Risah and Sal Hadad among those pictured. What was planned for the store
In a September 2023 pre-opening report, PerthNow described the planned store as 350 square metres, with a beauty studio and brands including Fenty Beauty by Rihanna and Tarte. This is information reported before the opening; it should not be read as a statement about the store’s current layout or inventory.

Sephora Australia currently lists the store at Shop 1252/4, Westfield Carousel, 1382 Albany Highway, Cannington WA 6107, with phone number 08 6350 1573. Westfield places it on Level 1 near David Jones. Check the official listings for current opening hours before travelling.
