The SSC MTS and Havaldar 2024 admit cards were reported released region-wise ahead of the examination, which was scheduled from 30 September to 14 November 2024. That release is historical: the available official information does not establish that a candidate-specific 2024 download page is still active. Candidates with a live issue should use the official SSC regional directory to find the relevant office.
Where SSC issued the 2024 Admission Certificate
SSC’s 27 June 2024 examination notice said candidates would receive their computer-based examination Admission Certificate online from the regional SSC office concerned. It advised candidates to check both the SSC headquarters website and the region responsible for the jurisdiction of the examination centre they had selected. SSC’s official admit-card directory routes candidates to regional websites and lists regional office contact details. Select the region relevant to the examination-centre jurisdiction, then look for the MTS 2024 notice or candidate login on that region’s site. The SSC Northern Region site, for example, listed an “Important Notice of MTS-2024” in its admit-card section; that listing does not establish that a candidate-specific 2024 download remains available now. What the release timing meant
The SSC notice treated advance examination information and the Admission Certificate as separate items. It said timetable and examination city/centre information would be uploaded about two weeks before the examination, while the Admission Certificate download facility would be available about three to seven days before it. If a candidate’s details were not available one week before the examination, SSC instructed the candidate to contact the concerned regional office immediately and provide proof of having submitted the application. What candidates had to bring to the examination hall
The SSC notice stated: “Candidate must bring printout of the Admission Certificate to the Examination Hall.” It also required at least two recent colour passport-size photographs and an original, valid photo identity document bearing the full date of birth as printed on the certificate. Accepted identity documents named in the notice
- Aadhaar card or e-Aadhaar
- Voter ID
- Driving licence
- PAN card
- Passport
- School, college or university identity card
- Government or PSU employer identity card
- Ex-serviceman discharge book
- Another photo identity card issued by the Central or State Government
If the photo ID does not show the date of birth
Bring an additional original document that proves your date of birth. The notice gives a matriculation certificate, marks sheet or birth certificate as examples. The date of birth on the certificate must match the supporting identity documents; SSC warned that a mismatch could prevent the candidate from appearing.

A report published on 27 September 2024 said the MTS and Havaldar admit cards had been released region-wise and gave the examination window as 30 September to 14 November 2024. Those dates describe the completed 2024 examination, not an upcoming exam. Scroll’s 27 September 2024 release report.
The official directory remains the appropriate starting point for finding a regional SSC office, but the sources do not confirm that the old 2024 candidate-specific download facility is active in October 2026. For an unresolved matter, contact the relevant regional office through the current official directory rather than relying on a saved or third-party link.
