Open SSC’s archived results listing, find the row for “Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination, 2023,” and select Result to open the candidate list.
How to download the SSC JE 2023 final result PDF
- Go to the official SSC results listing.
- Locate the entry titled “Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination, 2023,” dated 05-01-2024.
- Click Result to open the PDF containing the roll-number list. Use Write Up instead for the Commission’s explanation of the result and selection process.
- In the result PDF, search for your roll number. On most computers, press Ctrl+F (Windows) or Command+F (Mac), enter the number, and check the matching text carefully.
The result PDF is the official source for the listed candidates. If the archived listing does not load, SSC’s legacy portal directs visitors to ssc.gov.in for current services; the 2023 entry itself is on the archived listing.
What the SSC JE final result means
The Commission described the candidates in the result PDF as provisionally shortlisted for Document Verification and further selection. A roll number appearing in the PDF therefore indicates shortlisting at this stage; the PDF alone does not confirm that an appointment has been completed.
SSC’s write-up says the Paper-I result was declared on 17 November 2023 and Paper-II was held on 4 December 2023. The Commission used marks from both papers to determine final merit and cutoffs. Consult the official final-result write-up for the Commission’s process details.

Where to check marks and response sheets
SSC’s final-answer-key notice says final answer keys and response sheets were uploaded and that marks were made available online for shortlisted and non-shortlisted candidates. That access was time-bounded; whether the login page remains available for this archived examination is not established. Check the SSC website or candidate login for current availability rather than assuming marks can still be viewed.
