The Supreme Court of India Recruitment Cell issued its advertisement on 10 January 2025. It sought online applications for a panel of approximately 90 Law Clerk-cum-Research Associates for the 2025–2026 assignment term. The panel size was the number stated in the advertisement; it does not establish how many candidates were ultimately engaged.

  • Role: Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate.
  • Term: 2025–2026.

  • Initial consolidated remuneration: ₹80,000 per month, as stated in the 2025 advertisement.

Application deadline and status

The official Supreme Court recruitment listing and detailed advertisement give 7 February 2025 as the last date to apply. The application window has closed as of 8 October 2026. The headline’s reference to applications beginning on 14 January 2025 is not independently confirmed by the official listing and advertisement text available here, so it should not be treated as a verified opening date.

The Supreme Court Judicial Clerkship page also lists 2025 examination materials and notices for subsequent cycles. The 2025–2026 deadline and terms should not be assumed to apply to a later recruitment.
