Samsung Electronics estimates third-quarter 2026 operating profit at KRW 107.40 trillion, with consolidated sales of KRW 195 trillion. The October 8 announcement is guidance—not finalized results—and Samsung says the figures are the medians of ranges prepared under K-IFRS. Detailed results are scheduled for October 29.
What Samsung expects to report for Q3 2026
Samsung’s October 8 guidance puts consolidated operating profit at KRW 107.40 trillion and consolidated sales at KRW 195 trillion. The company’s disclosed ranges are KRW 107.3–107.5 trillion in operating profit and KRW 194–196 trillion in sales; the point estimates are their medians. Samsung says the estimates are based on K-IFRS. Samsung’s Q3 2026 guidance notice explains that Korean disclosure rules do not allow the company to publish the estimate as a range, so it reports the range median.

Samsung’s guidance comparison table lists the Q2 2026 and Q3 2025 figures above. The company’s comparison figures show that Q3 guidance is above both periods. Samsung’s Q2 release separately rounded operating profit to KRW 89.5 trillion and called Q2 revenue and operating profit all-time quarterly highs. The available comparisons do not establish every intervening quarter, so they do not independently verify a six-quarter record sequence.
What may explain the strong backdrop—and what is not yet confirmed
Samsung attributed Q2 Memory Business strength to AI demand, a focus on server products, and an industry-wide rise in prices. The company also said it expected strong server demand and continued supply constraints in the second half. Those statements describe Q2 results and Samsung’s outlook at that time; they do not establish the causes of the Q3 estimate.

For context, Q2’s Device Solutions (DS) Division generated KRW 127.5 trillion in revenue and KRW 89.2 trillion in operating profit. Mobile eXperience (MX) and Networks reported KRW 33.2 trillion in revenue and a KRW 0.7 trillion operating loss. These are Q2 segment figures, not a breakdown of Q3 guidance. Samsung’s Q2 results release says the Memory Business achieved another record quarter while addressing AI demand with a primary focus on server products.
When Samsung will provide detailed Q3 results
Samsung’s investor-relations notice schedules its Q3 2026 earnings call for 10 a.m. on October 29, 2026. Until then, KRW 107.40 trillion remains an estimate; the detailed results will provide the company’s reported figures and fuller business context. Samsung’s IR events notice lists the call date and time.
