The Omikami and RyuJin project materials use the name “Ryoshi,” but the reviewed sources do not verify that this is the same person as the pseudonymous creator associated with Shiba Inu. The projects describe a connection between themselves; that is different from independently proving who wrote or controls them.
What does the project material say about Ryoshi?
The RyuJin project document adopts “Ryoshi” as the first-person authorial voice. It says, “My identity is not significant, and in a few moments, you will understand why.” That is a statement made under a pseudonym in project material, not authentication of a legal identity or proof that the author is Shiba Inu’s historical Ryoshi. The same document describes RyuJin ($RYU) as part of the Omikami ecosystem and says it aims to support the Omikami platform. These are the project’s representations of its relationship and purpose; they do not independently establish how the projects are governed or whether the stated aim has been achieved. Is this the same Ryoshi associated with Shiba Inu?
The reviewed material does not establish that identity. A shared pseudonym or a project document written in the first person can show how a project presents itself, but it cannot by itself connect the author to a previously known anonymous creator. The available sources do not provide a verifiable signature tied to a known address or other credible, attributable proof of that connection. This finding is limited to the sources reviewed; it is not proof that no such evidence exists elsewhere.

How much weight should readers give the coverage?
Consider who published each claim, the source’s incentive, the kind of evidence it offers, and its date. Self-attribution, promotional assertions, and independent authentication are not interchangeable.

What does the RyuJin document say about the token?
The document calls RYU an ERC-20 token on Ethereum and lists a total supply of 1,000,000,000,000,000 RYU. Its publication date is not stated in the reviewed copy, and the figure has not been independently checked against current chain data. Readers should look for evidence that connects the pseudonym to the claimed identity, rather than relying on repeated claims or project messaging. A cryptographic signature from an address credibly and independently linked to the known creator could be relevant; any such link would itself need authentication. The sources reviewed here do not provide that proof.

- Check whether the claim is supported by attributable evidence, rather than repetition by other coverage.
- Separate evidence about the projects’ stated relationship from evidence about the author’s identity.
