What his wrestling career establishes—and what it does not
WWE’s official profile documents a long career spanning lucha libre, ECW and WCW before Mysterio joined WWE in 2002. WWE also identifies him as a 2023 Hall of Fame inductee and lists his 2006 Royal Rumble victory and championship accomplishments. WWE announced its acquisition of AAA on April 21, 2025, and included Mysterio among the talent at the announcement. The corporate release does not disclose a payment to him, an ownership stake or a new personal income stream. WWE’s acquisition announcement provides company context, not evidence of his individual finances.

How to read published net-worth estimates
- Check the date: the $10 million figure appeared in a 2025 estimate and in a 2022 report. A newer publication date does not automatically mean a newly verified valuation.
- Check the attribution: one source’s estimate and another outlet’s repetition of that estimate are not two independent financial disclosures.
