Redfin’s first Super Bowl ad, released as “America Needs Neighbors Like You,” features Lady Gaga singing a reimagined version of Fred Rogers’ “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” The story follows two teenage girls from different backgrounds whose lives intersect after major family transitions, using their connection to explore home, kindness and community.

What is the Redfin Super Bowl ad with Lady Gaga?

The released commercial is titled “America Needs Neighbors Like You.” Rocket Companies announced it on February 6, 2026, describing a story about two teenage girls from different backgrounds whose lives meet after major changes in their families. Lady Gaga’s performance of “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” provides the musical thread.

Rocket said the campaign marked Redfin’s first Super Bowl appearance in the company’s 20-year history. That milestone is Rocket’s description of the company’s history.

What song does Lady Gaga sing?

Gaga performs a reimagined version of “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?”, the theme song from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, as identified in Rocket’s January 27, 2026 teaser announcement. The January teaser introduced her rendition; the full commercial followed on February 6.

Rocket Companies CMO Jonathan Mildenhall framed the campaign’s message this way: “America is at its best when we are neighborly, when we look out for one another and feel connected to the people around us.”

What the campaign says about home and community

The commercial connects the idea of home to the people who help make a place feel welcoming. Its two protagonists come from different backgrounds and face family transitions; their intersecting lives illustrate the campaign’s stated themes of neighborliness, empathy and kindness. That is the campaign’s message, not evidence about housing affordability or how all neighborhoods function.

The teaser, the released spot and the app promotion

The campaign unfolded in stages: the January announcement teased Gaga’s recording and Redfin’s Super Bowl debut, while the February release presented the titled story commercial. A separate interactive element invited viewers to search for a home concealed in the ad.

  • Teaser, January 27: Rocket announced Gaga’s rendition and called the spot Redfin’s first Super Bowl appearance in its 20-year history.
  • Planned activation, reported February 4: Marketing Dive described a “Great American Home Search,” a scavenger hunt tied to a home valued at more than $1 million and accessed through the Redfin app.
  • Released commercial, February 6: Rocket announced “America Needs Neighbors Like You,” centered on the two girls’ intersecting lives.

Mirimar, the campaign agency, says a real $1 million home was hidden in the commercial for someone to find through the Redfin app. Marketing Dive described the prize as a home valued at more than $1 million. These are descriptions of the campaign promotion; they do not establish that the search or offer is still available.
