Scroll.in reported that the recruitment had 19 vacancies; that figure is the report’s count, not an independently verified or category-by-category breakdown. The Times of India’s December 7, 2023, exam-calendar report also listed the written exam for January 7, 2024.

How did the reported admit-card download work?
Scroll.in described this historical process for candidates at the time:

- Choose the Scientific Assistant admit-card link.
- Enter the requested login details and submit them.
- Download the admit card and print it.
The report linked to a direct admit-card destination, but its continued availability has not been verified. A PSSSB admit-card page surfaced at this address; its search listing showed Assistant District Attorney, not a Scientific Assistant link for the 2024 exam. For current recruitment information, use the official PSSSB website and follow the relevant current notice.
When were examination-centre details expected?
Scroll.in quoted the notification as saying: “Your are Advised to Re-Visit this website on 5th Jan 2024, to Know your Examination Centre Address details,”. In other words, candidates were told to revisit the website on January 5, 2024, for the centre address. The quoted sentence is attributed to the notification as reproduced by Scroll; no individual issuer was named.
