Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallNo: RBI Grade B applications are not open now. The 2026 application window closed on May 20, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The often-cited total of 120 vacancies belongs to the separate 2025 recruitment cycle, not the 2026 notice.
Which RBI Grade B application deadline has passed?
The Reserve Bank of India’s 2026 recruitment notice opened applications on April 29 and set the closing time at 6:00 PM on May 20, 2026. That deadline has passed. The RBI’s 2025 notice, which listed 120 vacancies, had a different application period: September 10 through September 30, 2025, closing at 6:00 PM. RBI’s 2025 notice and 2026 notice identify these as separate recruitment cycles.
Do not use the 120 figure as the 2026 vacancy total. The accessible 2026 notice information does not establish that cycle’s total; check the vacancy table in the official notice rather than carrying the previous year’s number forward.
What happened in the 2026 selection schedule?
The 2026 notice set the following examination dates. They have all passed and are not upcoming exam dates.

| Cadre | Phase I | Phase II |
|---|---|---|
| General | June 13, 2026 | July 25, 2026 |
| DEPR | June 14, 2026 | July 26, 2026 |
| DSIM | June 14, 2026 | July 26, 2026 |
Use the official notice and the relevant information handout for the exact paper structure and requirements. General, DEPR, and DSIM are distinct recruitment cadres; a schedule or exam summary for one should not be assumed to apply to another. The RBI 2026 recruitment notice is the primary reference.
How do eligibility rules differ by cadre?
The 2026 notice gave the General cadre a baseline of a graduation degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks, or postgraduate study with at least 55%. It specified lower marks for certain reserved categories. DEPR and DSIM have separate, discipline-specific postgraduate requirements. Eligibility depends on the notice’s stated date and conditions, so candidates should check the criteria for their chosen cadre and category in the notice rather than treat one qualification rule as universal. See RBI’s 2026 notice for the full criteria.
Was there a correction window after applications closed?
For the 2026 cycle, RBI described a two-day application edit window after the closing date, with a ₹200 fee inclusive of GST. The notice said applicants could not change fields including name, email, mobile number, post, category, and nationality. This was a time-limited provision for that cycle, not an open correction opportunity now. RBI’s 2026 correction notice lists the applicable details.

RBI says recruitment information, call letters, interview schedules, and results are published through its official opportunities website. The Bank also warns about deceptive domains and fake appointment communications. Cross-check any recruitment message on that official site instead of relying on an email, phone call, or lookalike website.
For a later recruitment cycle, wait for a new RBI notice and verify its application dates, cadre-specific eligibility, vacancy table, and exam schedule directly. The 2025 total and the closed 2026 dates do not establish what a future notice will contain.
