Patson Daka is no longer earning a Leicester City wage: the club said he would leave when his contract expired in summer 2026, and Bundesliga.com reported that Hamburg signed him on a free transfer on 22 July 2026. Leicester did not disclose his salary. Third-party estimates put his Leicester pay at either £65,000 or £75,000 a week, but neither figure is confirmed. The claim that Everton were plotting a move is unverified in the sources available.
What Leicester paid Daka is not officially known
Leicester City’s public announcements reviewed do not give Daka’s salary. The club confirmed his contract ended in summer 2026, but did not publish a wage figure. As a result, no specific amount can responsibly be described as his confirmed Leicester pay.
Two secondary sources give different estimates. Their figures should be treated as estimates, not as a verified contract or club payroll disclosure.

The £10,000 weekly difference is substantial, and the sources do not establish which estimate, if either, matches Daka’s actual Leicester salary. The annual amounts are the figures reported alongside each weekly estimate; they do not turn those estimates into confirmed pay.

He left Leicester and joined Hamburg
Leicester announced on 24 May 2026 that Daka would depart at the end of the season after his contract expired. The club listed him among several first-team players leaving on expiry, rather than announcing a transfer fee or a new Leicester deal. Leicester’s departure announcement
On 22 July 2026, Bundesliga.com reported that Hamburg had signed Daka on a free transfer following his release by Leicester. That establishes his subsequent club, but not what Hamburg pays him. Daka originally joined Leicester from RB Salzburg in 2021 on a five-year contract beginning 1 July, subject to clearance, according to the club’s signing announcement. That announcement described his Salzburg record but did not disclose his salary.
