Apple also listed installment amounts of $49.95 per month for iPhone 18 Pro and $54.12 per month for iPhone 18 Pro Max over 24 months. Those are the monthly figures in the announcement; taxes, carrier terms, and other financing details may affect what a buyer pays.

What analysts expected before Apple announced prices
On February 10, 2026, MacRumors reported that GF Securities analyst Jeff Pu expected Apple to aim for starting prices the same as or similar to those of the prior generation. The report also attributed to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo an expectation that Apple would avoid price increases where possible. These were pre-launch forecasts, not confirmed prices.
Apple’s announcement supersedes those expectations for the U.S. starting prices. The rumor history helps explain what analysts anticipated, but it should not be treated as a price list or as proof that every storage tier stayed at the same price.

The listed figures answer the starting-price question, not the full cost of buying a particular phone. Apple lists four storage capacities for each model, but the announcement information cited here does not give a price for each capacity. It also does not establish current prices outside the United States, retailer discounts, carrier financing terms, trade-in values, or taxes.
For a purchase decision, compare the exact model and storage capacity you want at checkout. Treat any carrier payment plan or trade-in offer as a separate offer with its own eligibility and terms rather than assuming it changes Apple’s listed starting price.
