The current product page lists a will, revocable living trust, health care directive, and financial power of attorney among its documents. It also says the documents are not valid in Louisiana, U.S. territories, or Canada. Treat the product’s general descriptions separately from the status of an older 2024 license and from whether any document is valid for your circumstances.
What Quicken WillMaker & Trust does
Nolo describes WillMaker as self-directed estate-planning software that uses an interview format to help users prepare documents. Its current product page describes a legal manual and documents that include a will, revocable living trust, durable financial power of attorney, health care directive, and final-arrangements materials. The exact contents of a 2024 Windows edition should be checked against that edition’s product information rather than assumed from the current listing. Nolo’s product page

What the “2024” edition label means now
Nolo says it no longer puts a version year in the WillMaker product name and that active accounts receive continuing updates. Its support page identifies the late-2024 release as WillMaker 2025. Those statements describe Nolo’s product transition; they do not establish whether an individual 2024 license remains usable, what updates it receives, or whether its account access continues. WillMaker/Nolo support WillMaker/Nolo download FAQs
If you have a 2024 license, confirm directly with Nolo or the seller whether its key can still be activated, whether the installer is available, and whether updates or account access are included. Do not rely on current access or renewal terms as a promise about that older license.

Windows requirements: current listing versus the 2024 edition
Nolo’s current product page lists these requirements for its offering. They are not verified requirements for the 2024 Windows edition:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11
- At least 2 GB of memory
- A PDF viewer
- An internet connection for updates and online account access
- 54 MB of free disk space, or up to 1.5 GB on Windows if .NET is not installed
Because the current page does not resolve compatibility for a particular 2024 installer, check the edition-specific requirements with Nolo before installing it on a current Windows computer. Nolo’s product page
Downloaded software or online access
Nolo describes both downloaded software and an online app. Its comparison page distinguishes how the two options handle data location and connectivity. The current product page presents a downloadable product for Windows or Mac, while support materials also discuss the online option. These are current descriptions, not evidence that a 2024 license includes either form of access. Nolo’s comparison of online and download versions
Nolo’s current pricing page describes access and renewal terms for current plans. Do not apply those terms to an existing 2024 purchase unless Nolo confirms that they govern that license. Nolo pricing

- QUICKEN WILLMAKER & TRUST 2024 IS THE EASIEST WAY TO CREATE YOUR ESTATE PLAN -- Whether you are just getting started or you want to update previous arrangements. This powerful software guides you through the process from beginning to end, giving you practical and legal information to make the best decisions for you and your family.
- WILLS ARE THE HEART OF EVERY ESTATE PLAN -- also known as a last will and testament. This legal document puts you in control of who inherits your property and who would take care of your children if it were ever necessary. Without a will, state law determines these issues. Your Quicken WillMaker & Trust will allow you to name an executor, appoint a trusted person to manage property left to young people, forgive debts, and make a plan for what happens to your pets.
- LIVING TRUSTS HELP YOUR ESTATE AVOID PROBATE -- Like a will, a living trust distributes property to the people you name after you die. But unlike a will, property that passes through a living trust can be passed directly to your beneficiaries, without waiting for court approval -- saving your beneficiaries time and money. Quicken WillMaker & Trust includes individual living trusts, shared living trust (for couples), trust revocations, and certifications of trust.
- HEALTH CARE DIRECTIVES & DURABLE POWER OF ATTORNEY FOR FINANCES -- Health Care Directives allow you to lay out your wishes for medical care (living will) and name someone to carry out your instructions (power of attorney for health care). The health care directives you make with Quicken WillMaker & Trust provide guidance for your loved ones if you are not able to make medical decisions for yourself.
Where Nolo says the documents are not valid
Nolo states that its estate-planning documents are not valid in Louisiana, U.S. territories, or Canada. That is a geographic exclusion in the publisher’s product information; it does not establish whether a document will meet the requirements for a particular person or situation elsewhere. Nolo’s product page
Does “legally binding” guarantee that a document will work for you?
No. The product title’s “legally binding” wording should not be read as a guarantee that a completed document is valid for every user, location, or circumstance. Nolo’s license agreement advises users to consider a qualified attorney if they need help understanding how the law applies to their circumstances or deciding which estate-planning documents are appropriate. Nolo’s license agreement
Software can guide document preparation, but it cannot establish that a chosen document fits your needs or resolve a legal question specific to your family, property, or jurisdiction. If you are unsure which documents you need or how to execute them correctly, seek advice from a qualified attorney.
Is a physical 2024 Windows product available?
Nolo’s current materials describe downloadable software and mention ebooks, but they do not establish that a boxed or disc-based 2024 Windows edition, or a standalone printed manual, is currently available. Confirm the format and edition with the seller before purchasing.
