Key answer: Tesla’s current Roadster page does not publish a 2025 MSRP or a confirmed delivery date. It shows “Reserve Now” and “Get Updates” instead. Tesla currently claims a 1.9-second 0–60 mph time, a top speed above 250 mph and 620 miles of range, but those figures are manufacturer claims rather than independently verified test results.
2025 Tesla Roadster price and availability
There is no current 2025 base price to quote from Tesla. The live Roadster page does not display an MSRP, reservation total, production price or firm delivery schedule. Its available actions are “Reserve Now” and “Get Updates,” so anyone considering a reservation should verify the current terms directly with Tesla before paying or making financial plans.
An older reservation agreement referenced $109,000, but that document belongs to an earlier Roadster reservation program. It should not be treated as the 2025 model’s current MSRP or as evidence of today’s pricing.
Is the Tesla Roadster available yet?
Tesla’s current page does not establish that customer deliveries have begun, nor does it provide a firm production or delivery date. Availability therefore remains unconfirmed from the information Tesla currently publishes. A reservation prompt is not the same as a delivery commitment.

Tesla Roadster specifications
The following figures are published by Tesla. No independent performance or range test was established for this article.

| Top speed | More than 250 mph | Manufacturer claim; publication year not stated |

| Seating | Four people | Tesla’s stated configuration |
| Roof | Removable glass roof | Tesla says the roof stores in the trunk |
What the numbers mean in practice
A claimed 1.9-second sprint would place the Roadster in hypercar territory, while a claimed 620-mile range would be unusually high for a high-performance battery-electric car. Those numbers describe Tesla’s target or advertised capability; real-world results can vary with temperature, speed, tires, payload, route and charging conditions. Until independent testing and a final production specification are available, they should not be used as guaranteed outcomes.

Design, seating and roof
Tesla describes the Roadster as a four-seat, all-electric supercar. Its removable glass roof is designed to be stored in the trunk, giving the car an open-top configuration without requiring a separate vehicle body style. The four-seat layout suggests more flexibility than a strict two-seat exotic, but Tesla has not published the detailed rear-seat dimensions, cargo volume or access measurements needed to judge everyday practicality.
Tesla characterizes the engineering approach this way: “As an all-electric supercar, Roadster maximizes the potential of aerodynamic engineering—with record-setting performance and efficiency.” That is Tesla’s statement about the vehicle’s design objective, not an independent efficiency assessment.

Where to see official Tesla Roadster photos

What to verify before reserving
- Confirm the live reservation amount, refund conditions and any applicable regional terms.
- Ask Tesla whether the displayed specifications apply to the exact configuration being reserved.
- Do not assume a reservation guarantees a production slot or delivery date.
- Budget for an eventual final price, taxes, registration, insurance and charging equipment separately from any reservation payment.
- Recheck the official page for a published MSRP, production status and delivery schedule before committing funds.
Bottom line for prospective buyers
The 2025 Tesla Roadster remains a highly specified but not fully priced or scheduled product in Tesla’s public materials as of October 1, 2026. The headline figures are a claimed 1.9-second 0–60 mph time, more than 250 mph of top speed and 620 miles of range, paired with four seats and a removable roof. Until Tesla publishes a current MSRP and firm delivery information—and independent testers evaluate a production car—treat the Roadster as a reservation-stage vehicle rather than an available, fully costed purchase.
