What the 2024 Steam Summer Sale included
Steam’s event ran from June 27 to July 11, 2024, ending at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Valve described it as discounts “on thousands of games of all kinds.” The sale also featured daily sticker drops, discounts on Steam Deck LCD hardware, and an extra-deep-discount section.

Why launch-day figures sometimes look different

For example, the launch report listed Manor Lords at $30, Deep Rock Galactic at $10, Subnautica at $10, Forza Horizon 4 at $12, Left 4 Dead 2 at $1, and Sea of Thieves: 2024 Edition at $20. The later figures above should be treated as the more precise snapshot for June 28, not as a contradiction.

The same launch report noted that Forza Horizon 4 was scheduled for delisting in December 2024. That was a 2024 availability warning, not a claim that the game remains discounted or purchasable today.

How to interpret these deals for a game budget
- For a new-release budget: the $17.99–$29.99 range covered Pacific Drive, Palworld, and Manor Lords.
