Houseplant announced its THC-infused sparkling water on December 12, 2024—not “just” now. The company said each serving contains 3 mg of THC and introduced four flavors. Its website still presents the beverage line, but current purchase options do not establish that it can be shipped to every location.
What is Seth Rogen’s THC sparkling water?
It is a ready-to-drink sparkling water sold by Houseplant, the cannabis lifestyle brand co-founded by Seth Rogen. In its December 12, 2024 launch announcement, Houseplant described the product as THC-infused sparkling water and quoted Rogen: “It’s sparkling water with THC in it – everybody loves a Houseplant.”

Availability and legal rules can depend on location. The FDA’s cannabis-products Q&A states that introducing into interstate commerce food to which THC has been added is prohibited under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, subject to the statutory framework and exceptions the agency describes. That is general FDA guidance; it does not determine this product’s legal status or whether it may be sold or shipped in a particular state. The label “hemp-derived” is not, by itself, proof that a THC beverage is lawful in every jurisdiction.
