If your OnePay CashRewards Card is missing, open the OnePay app, select the CashRewards Card under OnePay Cash, open Card Details, and turn on Freeze Card. Then report the card as missing or stolen and submit a replacement request in the card-management screen. Reporting it missing or stolen deactivates the existing card. OnePay says a replacement typically arrives in 7–10 business days, and you can follow its status from Track card on the Home tab.
What to do first when the card is lost
Use the CashRewards card’s own controls rather than assuming that a general account freeze covers it. Freezing is the immediate step to stop new card transactions while you look for the card or prepare the replacement request. A freeze is not the same as reporting the card missing or stolen: the report deactivates the existing card and starts the replacement process.

- Once you have decided the card will not be recovered, use the replacement option and choose whether it is missing or stolen.
The CashRewards Card is a Synchrony Bank-issued credit card. Its controls and workflow are separate from the OnePay debit card and Builder Card. If you cannot find the CashRewards controls described here, use OnePay’s in-app support rather than substituting an unrelated Checking or Savings card procedure.
Freeze only the CashRewards Card
In the OnePay app, the specific lock for this card is reached through OnePay Cash > CashRewards Card > Card Details > Freeze Card. OnePay describes the freeze as a way to prevent new card transactions from being processed. It is the narrowest response when the CashRewards card is the only item missing or at risk.

What the CashRewards freeze is for
- Stopping new purchases attempted with the physical CashRewards card while it is frozen.
- Buying time to check whether the card was left somewhere safe.
- Separating the credit-card lock from controls for your bank account or other cards.
A freeze does not locate the card, change the card number, or create a replacement. If you confirm that the card is gone, proceed to the missing-or-stolen report so the old credentials are deactivated.
Do not confuse it with “Freeze All Cards and Payments”
OnePay also documents a broader setting under Checking called Freeze All Cards and Payments. That control is intended for broader blocking, including the cards and payments covered by that Checking setting, digital-wallet activity and ATM transactions. It is not the CashRewards-specific credit-card lock. Use it only when you intentionally want the wider block described by OnePay; do not tell yourself that turning on the Checking control is the normal CashRewards replacement route.

Report the card missing or stolen and order a replacement
When the card will not be recovered, report it through the CashRewards card-management screen. OnePay says that reporting a card missing or stolen deactivates the existing card. That is the important difference from leaving a temporary freeze in place: the old card should no longer be usable, and the replacement receives new credentials.

- Open the OnePay app and select the CashRewards Card under OnePay Cash.
- Open the card-management or card-details area and choose the replacement option.
- Select missing if you cannot find the card but have no indication that someone took it. Select stolen when you believe another person obtained it or may have used it.
- Review and confirm the mailing address shown by OnePay. Correct it before submitting if the app provides an edit option; do not assume the card can be redirected after shipment.
- Submit the request and save the confirmation or status shown in the app.
The public instructions for OnePay’s general physical-card flow can begin from Checking or Savings, but that route is not the lead procedure for a CashRewards credit card. Start from the CashRewards card itself. If the replacement control is absent, the available public guidance does not identify an account-specific workaround; contact OnePay through the in-app help option.

How long delivery takes and how to track it
OnePay’s current help guidance says a replacement typically arrives in 7–10 business days. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date, so keep using the in-app status rather than treating the tenth business day as a promise.
- Open the OnePay app’s Home tab.
- Select Track card.
- Review the order status and any delivery information displayed for the replacement.
If the status does not change or the estimated window passes, use the in-app support route with the replacement details visible. Avoid submitting multiple replacement orders unless support directs you to do so, because duplicate requests can make it harder to identify which card is active.
What changes after you report it missing or stolen
For a missing or stolen replacement, OnePay says the new card has a new card number, expiration date and security code (CVC). The old card is deactivated. Treat the replacement as a new payment credential even if your credit line and account remain the same.

Update subscriptions and recurring payments
Merchants that stored the old number may decline the next renewal after the old card is deactivated. Make a list of services charged to the CashRewards card and update each merchant when the replacement details are available. Include subscriptions, utilities, memberships, app stores, insurance, travel bookings and any merchant where you authorized recurring billing.

- Check the OnePay transaction history for recurring merchants.
- Sign in to each merchant’s billing page and replace the old card number, expiration date and security code.
- Confirm the next billing date and look for a successful authorization after saving the new details.
- Keep monitoring for a declined renewal or an unexpected charge tied to the old credentials.
Check Apple Pay and Google Pay instead of assuming
OnePay’s guidance distinguishes between a card marked stolen and one marked missing. For a stolen-card report, the help page says the new card must be re-added to Apple Pay or Google Pay. For a missing-card report, OnePay says wallet details may update automatically and that most subscriptions may update automatically, while still advising customers to check. The safest approach is to verify your own wallet and merchant accounts in either case.
- Open the wallet on each device where the CashRewards card was stored.
- Check whether the old card is still present, whether it shows the replacement details, and whether the wallet asks for verification.
- Remove the deactivated card if it remains listed.
- Add and verify the replacement card when OnePay or the wallet requests it.
- Test the wallet only after the replacement appears as active; do not assume an automatic update succeeded.
Automatic updater services vary by merchant and wallet. OnePay’s wording does not guarantee that every recurring payment or every wallet entry will change without action, so keep your own checklist until the first billing cycle completes.
Using the virtual card while you wait
OnePay says CashRewards cardholders have access to a virtual card in the app, and its card-management guidance describes the virtual card number as separate from the physical card number. It may allow eligible purchases while the replacement is in transit. The published guidance does not establish that it works for every merchant, transaction type or wallet, so treat it as a possible interim option, not a universal substitute for the physical card.

Replacement and fraud reporting are related but separate actions. If a transaction looks unauthorized, freeze or report the card immediately, then use OnePay’s dispute process. OnePay instructs customers to report the card stolen and request a replacement before filing the dispute.

Dispute a posted unauthorized transaction
- In the OnePay app, open Profile > Help > File a Dispute, or call 1-855-830-6200.
- Choose the transaction and provide the requested details about why it is unauthorized.
- If the transaction is still pending, wait until it posts before submitting the dispute. OnePay’s dispute guidance specifically says a pending transaction should be allowed to post first.
- Keep the dispute confirmation and monitor the account for additional activity.
A pending charge can change, disappear or post for a different amount. Waiting for it to post follows OnePay’s stated process, but it does not mean you should leave the card active: freeze it or report it stolen while you monitor the transaction.
If login credentials, a PIN or an access code may be exposed
Contact OnePay promptly if you believe someone obtained your account login credentials, PIN or access code, not just the physical card. OnePay says you can enter agent in in-app chat to reach support or call support. Secure the account through the current in-app instructions and do not share verification codes with anyone who contacts you unexpectedly.
Keep evidence for the dispute
- Record the merchant name, amount, date and whether the transaction was pending or posted.
- Save screenshots of the transaction and the card status shown in the app.
- Note when you froze or reported the card and when you submitted the dispute.
- Keep emails, chat transcripts and case numbers from OnePay or the merchant.
Choosing “missing” versus “stolen”
The selection affects how OnePay describes wallet and payment updates, so choose the reason that matches what happened. “Missing” fits a card you cannot locate without evidence that another person took it. “Stolen” fits a card you know or strongly suspect was taken, especially if it was used without permission.

Troubleshooting when the app does not match these steps
The CashRewards card is not listed
Confirm that you are signed in to the OnePay profile that owns the CashRewards account and look specifically under OnePay Cash, not only under Checking or Savings. The CashRewards product is a credit card, so the debit-card or Builder Card controls may not apply. If the card still does not appear, contact support from the app and explain that the CashRewards card is missing from card management.

You froze the card but cannot find replacement controls
A freeze alone does not submit a replacement request. Reopen the CashRewards card’s details or management screen and look for the missing-or-stolen replacement option. If it is unavailable, do not invent a phone menu or alternate route; OnePay’s public material does not specify account-specific exceptions. Use in-app support.
The replacement has not arrived
Check Home > Track card first. Compare the status with the 7–10-business-day typical estimate, verify the mailing address shown in the order and contact support if the window has passed or the tracking information is inconsistent.
A recurring payment failed after replacement
Update the merchant with the new card number, expiration date and security code. A replacement marked missing or stolen does not retain the old card credentials. If the merchant says it has updated automatically, still confirm the next charge posts successfully.

Open Apple Pay or Google Pay and inspect the card entry. A stolen-card replacement may need to be added again. A missing-card replacement may appear automatically, but OnePay still advises checking. Remove obsolete entries and complete any identity verification requested by the wallet.
OnePay support options and the phone-hours conflict
OnePay’s official pages agree that in-app chat is available 24/7. Its customer-service information describes phone support as available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, while a separate security page lists phone hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time, seven days a week. Because those published pages conflict, check the current contact options and hours shown inside your OnePay app before relying on a phone schedule.
For a missing card, the app is normally the fastest route because it provides the CashRewards card controls, replacement request and tracking. Use chat or the current phone option when the card is not listed, the replacement flow fails, an address issue needs attention or account credentials may have been exposed.
After submitting the replacement: a practical checklist
- Confirm that the old CashRewards card shows as frozen or deactivated.
- Save the replacement confirmation and check Home > Track card.
- Make a list of subscriptions and recurring merchants from recent transactions.
- Inspect Apple Pay and Google Pay for the old card and add the replacement when available.
- Use the virtual card only for transactions it actually supports; do not assume every merchant accepts it.
- Wait for suspicious transactions to post before filing a dispute, while keeping the card frozen or reported stolen.
- Contact OnePay immediately if your login, PIN or access code may have been compromised.
These checks cover the two risks created by a lost card: further use of the old credentials and interruptions to legitimate payments that still need the new credentials.
