Update: Samsung’s U.S. pre-order window for the Galaxy S26 series and Galaxy Buds4 series has ended. Pre-orders opened on February 25, 2026, and general availability began March 11, 2026. You can now buy the devices through Samsung, participating retailers, and wireless carriers.
Can you still pre-order the Galaxy S26 or Galaxy Buds4?
No. The launch pre-order period has ended for all five devices: the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy Buds4, and Galaxy Buds4 Pro.

Samsung opened U.S. pre-orders on February 25, 2026. The phones and earbuds became generally available on March 11. A current Buy now button is a regular purchase route, not a continuing pre-order or a guarantee of a launch promotion.

Where you could order—and where to buy now
Samsung’s launch announcement identified these U.S. channels:
- Samsung.com and the Shop Samsung app
- Samsung Experience Stores
- Amazon
- Best Buy
- Participating wireless carriers
Samsung.com is generally the clearest option if you want an unlocked phone, Samsung’s direct trade-in process, an exclusive color, or Samsung financing. Retailers and carriers may offer different prices, inventory, bundles, and return policies.

Samsung product pages may show temporary reductions from MSRP. Check the final checkout screen rather than relying on a headline price. Separate the sale price, trade-in credit, financing cost, and carrier bill credits when comparing offers.
How to buy the devices now
- Open Samsung’s current Galaxy S26 product page.
- Select Buy now for the S26, S26+, or S26 Ultra. Use the relevant Buds4 or Buds4 Pro product page for earbuds.
- Choose storage, color, and an unlocked or available carrier configuration.
- Select a trade-in device, if applicable, and review the estimated credit.
- Compare one-time payment, Samsung Financing, Pay in 4, or an available carrier installment plan.
- Review the promotion’s conditions, taxes, shipping or pickup date, and final total.
- Save the confirmation email and order number.
Samsung-exclusive phone colors have included Silver Shadow and Pink Gold. Other listed colors include Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue, White, and Black, although availability can differ by seller and storage tier.

What the original pre-order process looked like
During the February 25–March 11 launch window, shoppers could select a device on Samsung.com or in the Shop Samsung app, choose storage and color, select unlocked or carrier service, apply a trade-in, and complete payment and delivery details. Retailer and carrier checkouts followed similar steps but had their own financing, activation, return, and promotion rules.
The $30 Samsung reservation credit was not $30 off the phone
Samsung’s launch terms offered qualifying reservers a $30 Samsung Credit if they subsequently pre-ordered and purchased during the eligible period. The credit could be used on eligible additional products such as Buds, watches, tablets, accessories, Galaxy Ring, or Samsung Care+.
It generally could not be applied directly to the reserved phone. The reservation and purchase needed to use the same email address, the credit was limited to one per qualifying purchase, and it could be forfeited if the order was canceled or returned. The qualifying period was February 25 through March 11, 2026, while supplies lasted. That launch credit should not be treated as an offer still available unless Samsung explicitly reinstates it.

Samsung trade-in versus a carrier deal
Samsung’s direct checkout uses an instant trade-in credit: the estimated value reduces the purchase price immediately. The amount depends on the device model, storage, condition, whether it powers on, the selected Galaxy model, and the promotion in effect.
Samsung offer pages have advertised up to $570 in instant credit for the S26 and S26+ and up to $720 for the S26 Ultra under specific promotional terms. These are promotional maximums, not permanent values or guaranteed amounts for every phone.
Carrier promotions may advertise a larger total value, but commonly distribute it as monthly bill credits over 24 or 36 months. They may require a qualifying unlimited plan, a new line or eligible upgrade, a trade-in, and continued service for the entire credit period.

Before accepting a carrier “free phone” offer, calculate the total required commitment. A phone may cost $0 per month only because bill credits offset the installment charge. Credits can stop if you cancel the line, change to an ineligible plan, pay off the device early, or otherwise violate the carrier’s terms.

- Galaxy S26: The smallest and least expensive model, with a 6.3-inch display.
- Galaxy S26+: A larger 6.7-inch display and battery-focused design, at a higher price.
- Galaxy S26 Ultra: The premium option, with a 6.9-inch display, a 200MP main camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and Samsung’s Privacy Display feature. It also has the highest MSRP.
Storage choices are 256GB and 512GB for the S26 and S26+, and 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB for the Ultra.
Galaxy Buds4 versus Buds4 Pro
The Buds4 cost less at $179 and provide the standard Buds4 feature set. The Buds4 Pro cost $249 and add Samsung’s higher-end audio and noise-control features, including the larger woofer, enhanced active noise cancellation, and Adaptive EQ described by Samsung.

Trade-in and checkout checklist
- Compare Samsung’s instant credit with the carrier’s total bill-credit value.
- Read the carrier’s plan, activation, lock, cancellation, and early-payoff terms.
- Confirm whether the selected phone is unlocked or carrier-connected.
- Check that the desired color and storage tier are actually available.
- Back up your trade-in device.
- Remove accounts and activation locks, then factory-reset it.
- Ship it by the stated deadline and keep the tracking number.
- Photograph the device and packaging before shipment.
- Do not assume the displayed trade-in estimate is final; Samsung or a carrier may adjust it after inspection.
- Check whether a phone and earbuds will ship separately and whether canceling one item changes the price of the other.
- Review each product’s return deadline.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra buying page may also offer accessories and Samsung Care+. Protection-plan prices and coverage depend on the product, plan, and region, so review the current terms at checkout. Samsung phones do not include a wall-charger plug in the box; you may need a compatible USB-C charger separately.
Best buying route by situation
- Want an unlocked phone: Start with Samsung’s direct purchase flow.
- Have a premium phone to trade in: Compare Samsung’s immediate credit with a carrier’s total credits and required plan cost.
- Need the lowest upfront payment: Check carrier promotions, but calculate the full service commitment.
- Want a Samsung-exclusive color: Check Samsung.com first.
- Want Buds with the phone: Compare the bundle’s effective price with buying Buds4 or Buds4 Pro separately.
- Need to avoid financing: Choose a one-time unlocked purchase.
Promotions can change or end when supplies run out. Verify the price, credit, delivery date, and return terms on the final checkout page before submitting payment.
