EVearn is a real VeChain-linked rewards app, but the title “earn crypto while charging” is now out of date. The current mobile program uses odometer and driving-distance data to award B3TR tokens. EVearn’s web app says charging-session rewards are deprecated, even though the Apple listing still uses charging language.
What EVearn actually rewards
EVearn connects qualifying electric and hybrid vehicles through Smartcar, records mileage, and calculates sustainable-driving rewards. The reward is B3TR, VeBetterDAO’s ecosystem incentive token—not Tesla credit, a charging discount, or guaranteed cash. EVearn identifies VECHAIN FOUNDATION SAN MARINO SRL as the developer on its Google Play listing.
The current flow is:
- Drive normally.
- EVearn receives odometer or distance data after synchronization.
- Open the app and claim accumulated rewards when available.
You do not necessarily need to claim after every trip; EVearn’s FAQ says kilometers can accumulate.
Does EVearn pay for Tesla charging?
Not under the current documented program. The EVearn web app labels charging-session rewards as deprecated, while the official FAQ bases rewards on odometer and distance data. In other words, plugging in and buying electricity is not the current trigger for a reward.

The Apple listing at apps.apple.com still includes “earn while charging” wording, and some user reviews repeat that description. Those store statements do not override the current web-app notice and FAQ. They also are not evidence of a guaranteed payout.
Can Tesla owners use EVearn?
EVearn’s FAQ says Tesla users are supported globally. It also describes support in Europe and North America for more than 27 brands through Smartcar. Eligibility can still depend on country, model, account permissions, and the vehicle list shown during setup, so check the in-app connection screen rather than assuming every Tesla configuration works.
Only one vehicle per user is supported according to the FAQ. That matters for households with multiple cars or drivers who want to switch vehicles.

How to connect a Tesla
- Download EVearn through evearn.io or its official Apple or Google Play listing.
- Sign in with an email address or supported social account.
- Start the vehicle-connection flow.
- Authorize the vehicle through the supported integration; EVearn identifies Smartcar as its partner.
- Confirm that your Tesla appears as connected.
- Drive, then reopen EVearn to let mileage update.
- Tap the claim control when rewards are available.
- Use the Wallet section to withdraw tokens to an external address if you choose.
VeWorld users should sign in with email or social authentication first, then link the wallet in the app’s settings. Existing web users are instructed to use the same email in the mobile app because the old web app is scheduled for discontinuation. Its transition page says history remains viewable for up to 30 days but gives no precise shutdown date: app.evearn.io/home.
What Tesla permissions should you review?
EVearn says its current reward calculation uses odometer data. Tesla’s authorization screen is still the authoritative place to see what a particular connection requests. Tesla explains third-party permissions, including possible access to charging history, billed amount, charging location, and charging controls, at tesla.com/support/access-third-party-apps.
- Use Tesla’s own authorization flow; never give EVearn your Tesla password directly.
- Approve only permissions that match the app’s stated function.
- Revoke access through Tesla’s account or app controls if you stop using EVearn. Tesla says permission changes may take a couple of hours to synchronize.
How much can you earn?
EVearn’s published materials do not establish a current per-mile, per-kilometer, per-charge, or monthly reward rate. That means no responsible dollar estimate can be given from the available official information. B3TR’s token price, liquidity, and ability to be spent or exchanged can also change, so token counts are not guaranteed cash values.

What is B3TR and where can it go?
EVearn says claimed B3TR can be held in a social-account wallet or a linked VeWorld wallet. Its terms and FAQ describe possible uses including withdrawal to an external wallet, VeBetterDAO governance, future ecosystem features, and the StellaPay Card feature referenced inside the app.

Availability, fees, geographic limits, and conversion options for any card or external service should be checked separately. EVearn’s terms make users responsible for wallet credentials and digital-asset security and disclaim responsibility for activity on the decentralized application. Verify the destination address and that the receiving wallet supports the relevant VeChain/B3TR environment before sending.

Privacy and security checks
Store privacy labels and EVearn’s own policy do not present an identical picture. Google Play displays developer declarations of “No data shared with third parties” and “No data collected,” while the EVearn privacy policy says the service may process email, name, public wallet address, usage data, and analytics-related information. Apple notes that its privacy information has not been verified by Apple and lists data that may be collected but not linked to the user.
Read the authorization screen and privacy policy before connecting. Consider using a wallet with recovery credentials stored separately from your Tesla account, and revoke vehicle access when you leave the service.

No reward appears
Check that the vehicle is connected, synchronization has completed, the car and region are supported, and you have opened the app to claim. A missing reward does not indicate that a charging session failed; charging is simply not the current reward basis.

Charging does not produce a reward
That is expected under the present model because charging-session rewards are deprecated.
Your old web account will not transfer
Use the same email address in the mobile app. If you use VeWorld, link the wallet afterward in settings.
You need to add a second car
The FAQ currently limits each user to one vehicle.
You are worried about Tesla access
Review or revoke the connection through Tesla’s third-party-app controls. Do not reuse or disclose your Tesla password in EVearn.
Is EVearn worth trying?
EVearn may suit Tesla owners who are comfortable with VeChain wallets, variable crypto values, and sharing vehicle data for a mileage-based incentive. The app is listed as free on the U.S. Apple App Store, and Android is listed by the VeChain Foundation; store metadata can change. The Google Play listing showed an update date of February 25, 2026, while Apple’s inspected version history included version 1.1.2 dated February 26.
It is a poor fit if you want predictable cash-back, a discount tied to kilowatt-hours, or a published earnings schedule. The central practical distinction is simple: EVearn currently rewards qualifying driving data, not the electricity on a Tesla charging bill.
