What the funding figures mean
The $40 million figure remains correct when referring specifically to Depthfirst’s Series A. It is not the company’s latest round or its cumulative funding total: the subsequent $80 million Series B brought the total reported by Depthfirst to $120 million as of March 31, 2026. Accel partner Sara Ittelson described the opportunity as a “$400B” enterprise-market corner in the Series A announcement; that is her attributed characterization, not an independently established market-size estimate.
