What the November 2021 reports claimed
Tech Times published its article on November 16, 2021. It described DeezNuts as a charity-focused crypto project and said the project was moving into NFTs with a collection called Flappy Sack.
According to that article, Trust Wallet was collaborating on a giveaway of 10 BNB and three NFTs. The coverage also described Flappy Sack NFTs as intended for a planned metaverse or play-to-earn game, said an alpha version was available at the time, and promoted an all-inclusive Bali trip as a possible benefit for selected NFT holders. These are claims reported at the time, not proof that the game launched successfully, that the NFTs retained utility, or that the trip occurred.
A Haute Living article dated November 17, 2021 also described the collaboration and prizes. The page labels the item “Entrepreneur, Haute Partners” and “Written in partnership with Ascend,” so it is corroborating partner coverage, not independent confirmation of fulfillment.

Was it an officially confirmed Trust Wallet giveaway?
The contemporary articles say there was a collaboration, but the available coverage does not establish that Trust Wallet officially operated the campaign. It does not link to official Trust Wallet campaign terms or a claim page, or provide eligibility rules, geographic restrictions, a closing date, a winner announcement, or blockchain records showing prize distribution. It also does not clarify whether 10 BNB meant a shared prize pool or an amount for each winner.
That distinction matters: a prominent wallet brand in a headline is not evidence that a promotion is genuine. The defensible conclusion is that the promotion was reported, while its mechanics and fulfillment remain unverified in the cited coverage.

Is the giveaway still available?

What “free NFT” can—and cannot—tell you
The 2021 articles do not establish the entry requirements or total cost. “Free” in a headline does not rule out network or marketplace fees, eligibility conditions, social-media tasks, or a requirement to hold a token. An NFT promotion can also expose a wallet to risk if it directs you to a malicious site or asks you to approve a transaction.
- Fees: Network and marketplace charges may apply even when an NFT itself is offered at no price.
- Wallet permissions: Connecting a wallet is not the same as safely receiving an asset; unfamiliar signatures or approvals can authorize unwanted actions.
- Later costs: Selling an NFT may involve fees and tax-reporting consequences, depending on your circumstances and jurisdiction.
- Promised utility: A proposed game, metaverse use, or prize is not guaranteed value or a promise of earnings.
How to assess a similar offer now
- Start with the official source. Reach Trust Wallet’s verified channels through its official website or the linked channel directory, rather than an ad, unsolicited message, repost, or forwarded chat link.
- Check for complete terms. Look for a current campaign page on an official domain that explains the dates, eligibility, location restrictions, prize allocation, and distribution process. If those details are missing, the offer is not adequately verified.
- Inspect the domain and account. Check the spelling of the full web address and the account identity. Lookalike domains and copied branding are common impersonation tactics.
- Reject payment-to-claim demands. Do not send BNB or another asset to unlock a prize, pay a release fee, or prove wallet ownership.
- Read transaction prompts before signing. Do not approve an unexplained request just because a page calls it verification or says it is needed to receive an NFT. A separate low-balance wallet can limit exposure during experimentation, but it does not make a harmful signature safe.
- Look for evidence of distribution. Where appropriate, a credible promotion should explain how winners and completed transfers can be verified. A project’s promise alone is not proof that prizes were delivered.
What to do if you already interacted with a suspicious offer
- You only connected a wallet: Disconnect the site in your wallet’s connected-app settings. A connection alone is not necessarily authorization to move assets, but review any transactions or approvals you signed.
- You approved a token or contract: Use a reputable approval-management method for the relevant blockchain to review and revoke permissions you do not recognize. Revocation may require a network fee; it does not reverse a transaction that already happened.
- You shared your recovery phrase or private key: Treat the wallet as compromised. From a secure device, create a new wallet and move any remaining assets to it. Do not enter the exposed phrase into another site or give it to someone claiming to help.
- You sent funds or signed a harmful transaction: Stop interacting with the site and preserve the transaction details. Do not pay anyone who promises to recover funds in exchange for an advance fee or your recovery phrase.
