Black Friday Domain Deals 2025: Best Domain and Hosting Offers Compared

Black Friday 2025 is over. The promotions and coupon codes below are historical, not live offers. Black Friday fell on November 28, 2025, and the documented campaigns ended by December 2025. Use this article as a verified buying retrospective, then check each provider’s current pricing before purchasing.

The strongest documented domain discount was Namecheap’s selected-TLD promotion. Hostinger advertised the lowest headline first-year prices, but its listed domain offer required a two-year-or-longer registration. For long-term value, compare renewal prices and total commitment—not just “99% off” claims.

Quick verdict

  • Best verified domain promotion: Namecheap, with selected 2025 prices including .com at $7.48 and .store at $0.48.
  • Lowest headline first-year offer: Hostinger, which listed .com at $0.01, subject to a two-year-or-longer registration requirement and later renewal pricing.
  • Best simple bundle: Hostinger or DreamHost, depending on whether you prefer Hostinger’s all-in-one tools or DreamHost’s displayed four-year hosting terms and renewal rates.
  • Best transparent domain-first alternative: Porkbun, whose standard .com example was $11.08 for registration and renewal.
  • Best broad business ecosystem: GoDaddy, particularly for buyers who want domains, auctions, brokerage, email, websites, and other business tools together.

Those are use-case conclusions, not universal rankings. A domain price is meaningful only when its TLD, registration term, renewal price, customer eligibility, taxes, and bundled services are known.

What the best Black Friday 2025 domain deals actually were

Provider Example 2025 offer Main restriction Best suited to
Namecheap .com $7.48; .org $6.48; .me and .biz $1.98; .store $0.48; .app and .tech $5.98; .info $2.98 Required code MATRIXTLD25; maximum five discounted domains; ended December 5, 2025 Buyers seeking discounted domains from a dedicated registrar
Hostinger .com $0.01; .online and .shop $0.99; .blog $1.99; .pro $2.99; .net $11.99 for the first year The listed offer required registration for two or more years; standard renewal pricing applied afterward Buyers who also wanted hosting
GoDaddy Current pricing material has shown promotional first-year .com pricing from $0.01 for new customers New-customer and term restrictions; renewal pricing is materially higher Buyers wanting an all-in-one ecosystem
DreamHost Discounted domains and free-domain credits with qualifying annual hosting Hosting purchase required for the free-domain credit; registration and renewal vary by TLD Buyers pairing a domain with hosting

Namecheap’s announcement documented its November 21–December 5, 2025 “Black Friday Matrix of Deals,” including the code and five-domain limit. Hostinger’s archived promotion listed its domain prices and two-year requirement. Do not assume either promotion, or either code, still works.

Best Black Friday 2025 hosting promotions

Hostinger

Hostinger promoted Black Friday hosting through December 8, 2025, followed by a Cyber Monday period through December 15. Its current hosting page, checked in August 2026, displays Premium hosting at $2.99 per month for 48 months, or $143.52 for the initial term, renewing at $10.99 per month. The displayed package includes a domain for one year, email for one year, SSL, backups, CDN, and website-building tools.

This is a useful illustration of why the checkout total matters. The $2.99 figure describes a long prepaid introductory term, not an indefinitely available monthly price.

Bluehost

Bluehost’s 2025 Black Friday article advertised discounts of up to 75% on selected hosting plans and stated that eligible plans included a free domain registration and SSL. The discounted price was for the initial term, not a permanent monthly rate. See Bluehost’s promotion details and its current hosting page for present eligibility.

Namecheap

Namecheap’s current shared-hosting page shows a Stellar trial at $0 for 30 days, followed by $2.28 per month. The company states that the trial is limited to one per account across its shared-hosting plans. Namecheap also offers a domain-and-hosting bundle in which certain domains may be free for the first year with qualifying hosting.

DreamHost

DreamHost’s current promotional page, checked in August 2026, displays Web Hosting Launch at $1.99 per month for the first four years, renewing at $7.99 per month. Its Growth plan is shown at $3.49 per month for four years, renewing at $8.99 per month. The page says the full initial term plus taxes is charged at checkout and includes a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Domain registration is not hosting

These services are related but separate:

  • Domain registration reserves an address such as example.com.
  • Hosting stores the website’s files and serves them to visitors.
  • DNS points the domain to the hosting provider.
  • Email may be included, limited, or sold separately.
  • SSL encrypts the connection and is commonly included at no extra charge.
  • Website builders simplify setup but may make migration harder later.

You do not have to register the domain with the company hosting your website. DreamHost explains that domain registration and hosting are typically separate, although annual hosting plans may include a free-domain credit.

The real cost after the first year

Use this formula for a realistic comparison:

Total cost = domain registration + domain renewals + hosting + email + privacy/security fees + taxes + transfer or migration charges

For hosting, calculate both:

Initial-term cost = advertised monthly price × required months
Renewal cost = renewal monthly price × the next comparable term

Worked hosting example

Hostinger’s displayed $2.99-per-month Premium offer costs $143.52 for 48 months. At the listed renewal rate of $10.99 per month, another 48-month period would cost $527.52 before tax. The introductory term therefore saves money initially, but the renewal rate determines much of the long-term cost.

That same logic applies to domains. A $0.01 first-year registration can be a good launch promotion, but it does not establish that the domain is inexpensive to keep.

Renewal prices can dwarf registration prices

Warning: A cheap first-year domain is not necessarily a cheap domain. Check renewal pricing before registering, especially for .me, .ai, .io, .shop, .store, and other extensions.

DreamHost’s domain table illustrates the difference: it lists .com at $9.99 for registration and $19.99 for renewal, .me at $2.99 for registration and $32.95 for renewal, and .ai at $89.99 for both registration and renewal. Prices change, so verify the exact TLD at checkout.

As another benchmark, Porkbun explains that its standard .com example totals $11.08, based on a $10.26 wholesale price, the $0.20 ICANN fee, and payment-processing costs. That kind of ordinary registration-and-renewal benchmark can be more useful than a dramatic first-year discount.

Buy the domain and hosting together—or separately?

A bundled host is usually best when:

  • You are launching one or a few small websites.
  • You want one dashboard for the domain, hosting, email, SSL, backups, and builder.
  • You value simplicity more than registrar flexibility.
  • The free first-year domain meaningfully offsets the hosting cost.

The trade-off is possible renewal inflation and greater switching friction. Hostinger, Bluehost, GoDaddy, Namecheap, and DreamHost all combine some domain and hosting services, but their terms differ.

An independent registrar is usually best when:

  • The domain is strategically important to a business.
  • You expect to change hosts.
  • You manage several domains.
  • Transparent renewal costs matter more than a free first year.
  • Your site will use Shopify, managed WordPress, a VPS, or cloud infrastructure.

Registering separately does not prevent you from using the host you want. You can update DNS records or nameservers without transferring the domain.

Which provider fits which buyer?

Namecheap

Choose Namecheap when a large selection of discounted TLDs and a dedicated registrar are priorities. It is less suitable if your only goal is the lowest renewal price, because the 2025 headline registration price was not a long-term cost comparison.

Hostinger

Choose Hostinger if you want domain, hosting, email, SSL, backups, a builder, and WordPress tools in one account and accept a long initial billing term. It is a poor fit if you need monthly flexibility or want the registrar fully independent from the host.

DreamHost

Choose DreamHost if you value a conventional WordPress-oriented host, a displayed long-term promotion, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. It is not automatically the cheapest registrar: renewal prices vary substantially by extension.

Bluehost

Choose Bluehost if you are a new WordPress user who wants an integrated setup with an eligible free-domain offer. Compare the initial term and renewal rate rather than relying on the maximum discount percentage.

GoDaddy

Choose GoDaddy if you need a broad ecosystem including domains, auctions, brokerage, websites, email, and business tools. Its current pricing page advertises first-year .com pricing from $0.01 for new customers and a Domain Discount Club from $9.99 per month on an annual plan. A single-domain buyer may not need that broader ecosystem.

GoDaddy’s brokerage service is a separate aftermarket product: its pricing page lists $99.99 per domain plus a 20% commission. Do not confuse brokerage or premium-domain acquisition with ordinary registration.

Porkbun

Choose Porkbun for a domain-first purchase when transparent registration and renewal pricing matter more than bundled hosting or website-building tools. Its pricing model is a useful alternative to heavily discounted introductory offers.

Conditions to check before paying

  • Whether the offer is limited to new customers.
  • Whether a coupon code is required.
  • The minimum registration or hosting term.
  • The maximum number of discounted domains.
  • Whether a hosting purchase is required.
  • Automatic-renewal settings and the renewal price.
  • Whether WHOIS privacy is included.
  • Whether email, SSL, backups, and support are included, and for how long.
  • Taxes, ICANN fees, and add-ons at checkout.
  • Country, currency, and payment restrictions.
  • Whether the domain is premium-priced.
  • Refund and cancellation restrictions.

For example, Namecheap’s 2025 deal required MATRIXTLD25 and capped discounted registrations at five domains. Hostinger’s listed domain prices required two or more years. DreamHost states that domain registrations are generally non-refundable, although some TLDs may qualify for a refund within five days.

Common traps

“Up to 99% off”

This describes the maximum discount on selected TLDs or products. It does not mean .com or every hosting tier receives 99% off.

Multi-year checkout requirements

A $0.01 or $0.99 domain may require two or more years. Compare the full checkout commitment, not only the first-year figure.

“Free domain” limitations

A free domain may mean first-year registration only, selected TLDs only, annual or multi-year hosting, or a credit rather than a free standalone registration. It may not cover transfers, cancellations, or renewal.

Automatic renewal

Record the expiration date before disabling automatic renewal. Otherwise, the domain may expire and enter registrar-specific grace, redemption, or deletion processes. Fees and time periods vary by registrar and TLD.

Transfer locks

Do not assume a newly registered domain can be transferred immediately. Check the registrar’s current transfer-lock policy, authorization-code process, and change-of-registrant rules before buying.

Premium domains

A search result showing that a name is available does not guarantee ordinary pricing. Premium domains can have higher registration, renewal, or brokerage fees.

Privacy is not email

Free WHOIS privacy does not necessarily include professional email. Hostinger’s current Premium page lists two mailboxes per website free for one year, while DreamHost’s promotional plans list three months of professional email. Limits and durations matter.

How to claim a deal safely

  1. Search for the exact domain.
  2. Confirm that it is ordinary-priced rather than premium.
  3. Check the registration term and minimum commitment.
  4. Reveal the renewal price for the exact TLD.
  5. Remove unnecessary add-ons.
  6. Check privacy, email, SSL, backups, and their expiration dates.
  7. Review the final total, including tax and fees.
  8. Save the invoice, renewal date, and transfer information.
  9. Enable account security and domain lock.
  10. Do not rely on a historical coupon after its stated expiration date.

Current alternatives for readers buying now

The following are current comparison signals observed around August 16–18, 2026—not 2025 Black Friday prices. Verify every figure at checkout.

Need Current page to check Displayed signal
Bundled hosting and website tools Hostinger hosting Premium at $2.99/month for 48 months; $143.52 initial total; $10.99/month renewal shown
Low-cost shared hosting Namecheap hosting Stellar trial at $0 for 30 days, then $2.28/month; one trial per account
Long introductory hosting term DreamHost promotion Launch at $1.99/month for four years, renewing at $7.99; Growth at $3.49, renewing at $8.99
Integrated WordPress setup Bluehost hosting Eligible plans advertise a free domain for one year
Domain ecosystem and business tools GoDaddy pricing First-year .com pricing from $0.01 for new customers; Domain Discount Club shown from $9.99/month annually
Transparent domain-only benchmark Porkbun pricing explanation .com example totaling $11.08 for registration and renewal

Bottom line

The best Black Friday 2025 domain deal depended on what you bought and how long you kept it. Namecheap offered the most clearly documented selected-TLD discount; Hostinger offered the most striking first-year price but required a longer commitment; bundled hosts traded convenience for possible renewal and switching costs. For a durable financial decision, compare the two- or three-year total, renewal price, required term, included services, and portability before clicking Buy.
