The Beats Studio Pro deal behind the “best price yet” headline was a February 11, 2026 Amazon offer: $169.95, down from a stated $349.99 reference price. That was about 51% off, and Phandroid reported it matched the lowest price it had seen at the time. It was not a lasting price record: later 2026 coverage listed new units for $149.95 at Amazon and $149.99 at Best Buy and Target. Those are historical deal snapshots, not confirmation of today’s prices.
What the February deal actually offered
Phandroid reported on February 11, 2026, that Amazon had the Beats Studio Pro for $169.95, compared with a $349.99 reference price—about $180 off. The article described the offer as matching the lowest price it had seen by that date, not as a verified all-time low across every retailer, color, seller, and item condition. Its report said the deal included black, deep brown, navy, and sandstone; color availability can vary by listing and inventory. Read Phandroid’s February 11 deal report.
A percentage discount against a list or reference price does not tell you how unusual the checkout price is. Beats Studio Pro discounts recur, and TechRadar describes prices around half off as common. Treat the $349.99 figure as a reference, not proof that buyers normally pay that amount. TechRadar’s Beats buying guide.
Was $169.95 really the best price?
It was a notable price and, according to Phandroid, the lowest that publication had seen when it posted. But later NBC Select coverage reported the headphones at $149.95 on Amazon and $149.99 at Best Buy and Target, calling those offers the lowest price of 2026 at that point. The later prices undercut February’s $169.95 by about $20. These are dated U.S. deal reports; they do not establish that those offers remain available now. See NBC Select’s deal coverage.

An iClarified price-history tracker reports a $129 low last seen February 3, 2026. That is a secondary tracker claim, and the available information does not establish whether that price was for a new standard retail unit available broadly. Walmart’s price-history page includes restored, pre-owned, and open-box listings, which can fall below new-item prices but are not like-for-like comparisons. For a fair “best price” comparison, specify date, country, retailer, seller, and condition. iClarified price history; Walmart price-history listings.
How the recorded prices compare
| Price | What the record shows | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| $349.99 | U.S. reference price used in the February deal report; retailer pages may describe a comparable value. | Not necessarily the recent street price. |
| $169.95 | Amazon price reported by Phandroid on February 11, 2026. | A strong sale, and the lowest price Phandroid said it had seen then. |
| $149.95–$149.99 | Amazon, Best Buy, and Target prices reported by NBC Select later in 2026. | A better reported new-unit deal; historical, not a live availability guarantee. |
| $169.99 | Price shown for a new black Studio Pro on the Best Buy page captured for this coverage, against a comparable value of $349.99. | A useful retailer snapshot, not confirmation of the current checkout price. |
| $129 | Low reported by the iClarified tracker, last seen February 3, 2026. | Condition and standard retail availability are not established. |

What you get for the sale price
The Studio Pro is a wireless over-ear headphone with active noise cancellation (ANC), Transparency mode, voice-targeting microphones for calls, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C audio, and a 3.5mm analog input. Beats advertises lossless audio over USB-C; the result depends on a compatible device, connection, and audio source. Beats and Apple list one-touch pairing and other platform-specific features, with a deeper feature set on compatible Apple devices and Android integration for compatible Android devices. Beats’ specifications and features; Apple’s product listing.
- Battery: Beats rates listening for up to 40 hours with ANC disabled. Battery life is lower with ANC or Transparency enabled, and actual results vary with use.
- Fast Fuel: Beats says a 10-minute charge can provide up to four hours of playback.
- Wired listening: USB-C supports audio, while the 3.5mm input offers an analog option. Check that your intended device and setup support the connection features you need.
- Apple conveniences: One-touch pairing, “Hey Siri,” Find My, and automatic over-the-air updates are among the listed features; availability depends on compatible hardware and software.
- Android: One-touch pairing and Android integration are supported, but Apple-specific conveniences should not be assumed to work identically across platforms.
- Fit and weight: The listed weight is 260 grams (9.17 ounces). Weight alone does not establish long-session comfort; clamp force and ear-pad heat can matter.
Who is likely to get good value?
Consider it if you want Beats features at a sale price
At around $150, the Studio Pro is a compelling option for an iPhone owner who wants Apple conveniences in an over-ear design without buying AirPods Max. Android users can also use the headphones, and battery life, USB-C audio, and the analog input broaden their usefulness. Commuters and travelers may value ANC and Transparency, but the available evidence here does not establish that its noise cancellation is class-leading.

Look elsewhere if your priorities differ
If maximum noise cancellation, neutral sound, or long-session comfort is your top priority, compare before buying. TechRadar says Sony and Sennheiser can do some aspects better for the money. The Sony WH-1000XM5, Bose QuietComfort, and Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless are credible comparisons for buyers weighing ANC, comfort, or sound. For a lower-cost ANC option, consider Soundcore’s Space series. No current competitor prices are established here, so compare checkout prices and return policies rather than assuming one model is cheaper.
What to check before you buy
- Confirm the exact listing and price. Check the color and model, final price after any coupon, shipping, and tax, and whether the item is sold and shipped by the retailer or a marketplace seller.
- Verify condition. Make sure the listing says new if that is what you intend to buy; do not compare open-box, refurbished, restored, or pre-owned units with a new retail price as though they were equivalent.
- Read the warranty and return terms. Check who provides warranty coverage, the return window, and whether marketplace or import terms differ from the retailer’s standard policy.
- Check what is included. Confirm the standard case and cables are part of the specific listing rather than assuming every bundle or seller offers the same contents.
- Match features to your devices. Verify Apple or Android compatibility and whether your intended USB-C audio setup works as you expect, including whether simultaneous charging and audio are supported.
What price should you pay?
These are buying guidelines, not guaranteed market prices. At the full $349.99 reference price, the Studio Pro is difficult to recommend unless you specifically want its design, platform features, or wired options. Around $199–$220, it may be reasonable, but alternatives could offer a better fit for comfort, isolation, or sound refinement. At $169.99, it is a strong sale; at $149.95–$149.99 for a new unit, it is an excellent deal if seller and return terms suit you. Below $150, treat the offer as exceptional only after checking condition, seller, warranty, and returns.
