Its original website redirects to Leveled Up Traders, that site is inactive, and the replacement destination ultimately leads to Alpha Funded. The associated Florida company, LEVELED UP TRADERS LLC, is listed as inactive after filing for voluntary dissolution on February 6, 2024.
That makes this more than a question of whether the old challenge rules were attractive. A person looking to buy a new account today should not treat Leveled Up Society as an available prop firm. Historical reviews include evidence of satisfied customers and payouts, but also repeated reports of delayed or rejected payouts, account-access issues, disputed rule enforcement and major service interruptions.
Leveled Up Society: current verdict
Verdict: do not buy a new Leveled Up Society challenge. The brand is discontinued as an independent operation, and its corporate and website history create too much uncertainty to call it a good or dependable prop trading firm.
That conclusion is narrower than saying every historical customer was scammed. There is evidence that some traders received payouts and had positive experiences. However, the available record also shows an operational shutdown, unresolved customer complaints and a later transfer or migration to another brand. Those are serious risks for anyone paying an upfront challenge fee.

What happened to Leveled Up Society?
In October 2023, Finance Magnates reported that Leveled Up Society had suspended operations after separating from Easton Consulting Technologies. The company described the situation as a temporary pause during a transition, but traders reported uncertainty about account access, pending withdrawals and whether their accounts would be transferred.
The historical program reportedly sold challenge accounts ranging from $5,000 to $200,000. Challenge fees were reported at approximately $109 to $1,069, depending on the account size and package. The advertised profit share was generally around 80% to 85%. These figures are historical and should not be confused with current Alpha Funded terms.
The corporate record adds an important detail. Florida records identify LEVELED UP TRADERS LLC, document number L23000466534, as inactive. The company was filed on October 10, 2023, and its last event was a voluntary dissolution filed on February 6, 2024. An inactive company should not be presented as the current legal operator of a trading program.
Where does the website lead now?
The original Leveled Up Society domain redirects to Leveled Up Traders. The latter site is inactive. The replacement destination, Alpha Trader Firm, redirects to Alpha Funded.

Several prop-firm review publications reported that Leveled Up Traders was acquired by or transferred to AlphaTraders and that users were directed to Alpha’s support channels. Customer reviews on the legacy Leveled Up Traders Trustpilot profile also refer to an “Alpha acquisition” and migration.
Those reports do not mean that an old Leveled Up account automatically has the same legal protections, rules or payout rights as a new Alpha Funded account. A brand migration can change the responsible company, platform, trading conditions, payout process and refund policy. Anyone with an old account should obtain the applicable terms in writing rather than relying on an old review page or saved advertisement.
Why traders complained
1. Operations stopped unexpectedly
Finance Magnates reported that the platform went offline in late September 2023 during the separation from Easton Consulting Technologies. Traders were left waiting for information about their accounts and pending payouts.

For a prop firm, this is a major financial risk. The trader pays before receiving any potential profit share. If the platform, dashboard or support system disappears, the trader may have difficulty proving the account balance, trading history or withdrawal request.
2. Payouts were delayed or rejected
Reported complaints included rejected payout requests and explanations referring to “account management.” The company said pending payouts had resumed, but some traders continued to report rejected or unresolved claims.
Later reviews on the Leveled Up Traders Trustpilot page mention delayed withdrawals, delayed funded-account credentials and accounts allegedly breached for rule violations. These are customer allegations, not independently verified transaction records. They are still relevant because a pattern of unresolved payout complaints is a practical warning sign, even when each individual claim cannot be proven from a public review.
3. Rule disputes appeared after challenges were passed
Some reviewers said they were allowed to complete a challenge and were then told that their trading violated a rule. Weekend trading was a recurring dispute.
The edge case matters: a trader may open a position shortly after the weekly market reopening and regard it as Monday trading, while the firm may classify the position as weekend exposure. If the firm’s definition is not clear before the trade, the trader can pass the challenge while still facing a later account denial.

Screenshots, downloaded terms, trade records and support messages are more useful than a general statement that a firm “allowed” a particular strategy.
4. Slippage and execution were questioned
Several Trustpilot reviewers alleged that trades were filled materially away from their expected entry or stop-loss levels. One account described a planned $500 loss becoming approximately $800 or $1,300; another alleged that a trade recorded as a $48 loss was instead recorded as a $1,300 loss.

These claims are not independently verified. Slippage can occur in volatile or thin markets, and simulated prop-firm execution may not match a retail broker’s execution. Nevertheless, repeated unexplained differences between expected and recorded fills should be treated as a material account risk. A trader should be able to obtain order IDs, timestamps, bid/ask data and the firm’s execution explanation.
5. Refund and chargeback terms were restrictive
The historical refund policy said that an account could receive a full refund if no trades had been placed, with no stated time limit for requesting that refund. It also said that a challenge fee would be refunded with the first withdrawal after a successful completion, provided profits were sufficient.
The same policy warned that customers who disputed charges or initiated chargebacks could be permanently banned. Because the original website is inactive, these provisions should not be treated as a currently available refund policy. They also illustrate why a trader should understand the refund process before paying and should retain the checkout terms.
6. The terms placed significant responsibility on the user
The historical terms made users responsible for keeping account credentials confidential. They stated that the company would not be responsible for third-party access caused by stolen or misappropriated credentials.
The terms also said that changing the password on a demo evaluation account could constitute a breach and cause the evaluation to fail. In addition, the company reserved the right to share trader information with other proprietary trading firms or third parties for fraud detection and rule enforcement.
These provisions are not necessarily unusual in the prop-firm industry, but they can create costly surprises. A trader should never assume that changing a password, using a different device or allowing an outside trade copier is harmless without checking the applicable rules.

These are not current terms. In particular, old claims about daily payouts, a $500 minimum withdrawal, profit splits or weekend-trading accounts should not be used to evaluate a new purchase. The original brand is no longer operating independently.
What about the successor, Alpha Funded?
Alpha Funded publishes its own rules and disclosures. Its current instant-funding documentation, for example, lists a 5% maximum loss, a 3% daily-loss limit and a 20% consistency requirement, along with its own payout options. Those conditions are materially different from some historical Leveled Up descriptions.
Alpha Funded also states that its accounts operate in a simulated trading environment and that no real capital is at risk in the accounts. This means a trader should not describe the successor program as a conventional brokerage account or assume that the firm has allocated live investor capital to the trader.

The legacy Leveled Up Society Trustpilot profile displays approximately 3.3 out of 5 from about 1,286 reviews. It shows roughly 61% five-star reviews and 30% one-star reviews, with no reviews in the preceding 12 months. Trustpilot also warns that the company has not recently invited customers to review it and that the score may not be representative.
The separate Leveled Up Traders profile shows approximately 3.9 out of 5 from 87 reviews, with roughly 71% five-star and 23% one-star reviews. Reported issues include migration, payout delays, slippage, weekend-trading disputes and denied funded accounts.
These profiles are useful for identifying recurring complaints, but they do not establish solvency, regulatory status, ownership or the legal entity responsible for an old account. Nor does a positive rating prove that all payouts were made. Conversely, a failed payout reported in a review does not prove that every customer was defrauded.

How to protect yourself when assessing any prop firm
- Confirm the firm is operating now. Test the official domain, account dashboard and support channels. Check whether the named company is active in its jurisdiction.
- Identify the legal counterparty. Match the company name on the checkout page, terms, invoice and payment receipt. A brand name alone is not enough.
- Download the rules before paying. Save the pages covering daily loss, total drawdown, news trading, weekend positions, copy trading, minimum trading days, consistency and prohibited strategies.
- Ask how trades are executed. Determine whether the account is simulated, how spreads and slippage are calculated, and what records are available when an order is disputed.
- Read the payout and refund conditions. Look for minimum withdrawal amounts, processing times, eligibility checks, chargeback clauses and circumstances that void a payout.
- Start with money you can afford to lose. A challenge fee is not a normal investment, and passing a challenge does not guarantee a payout.
- Keep an evidence file. Store receipts, rules, account credentials, trade exports, dashboard screenshots and all support correspondence.
Scam or good prop trading firm?
Calling Leveled Up Society a good current prop trading firm would be inaccurate: it is not currently operating as an independent firm. Calling every historical transaction a proven scam would also go beyond the evidence.
The more defensible assessment is that Leveled Up Society became a high-risk and operationally unreliable discontinued brand. The combination of a 2023 shutdown, payout and account complaints, later migration reports, an inactive Florida LLC and an inactive original website makes it unsuitable for someone seeking a dependable prop firm today.
FAQ
Is Leveled Up Society still in business?
No. The original Leveled Up Society domain redirects to Leveled Up Traders, that website is inactive, and the associated Florida LLC is listed as inactive after voluntary dissolution.
Was Leveled Up Society a scam?
The public evidence does not prove that every historical customer transaction was fraudulent. However, the firm had serious operational disruptions and repeated reports of payout, account-access and rule disputes. It is reasonable to classify the discontinued brand as high-risk and unreliable.
Can I buy a Leveled Up Society challenge now?
You should not. It is not operating as an independent current prop firm, and old challenge prices, rules and payout promises should not be treated as available today.
Did Leveled Up Society become Alpha Funded?
Reports indicate that Leveled Up Traders users were directed toward Alpha Trader Firm, whose destination now redirects to Alpha Funded. This does not mean old Leveled Up accounts automatically have Alpha Funded’s current terms.
Are Alpha Funded accounts real trading accounts?
Alpha Funded’s current disclosure says its accounts operate in a simulated trading environment and that no real capital is at risk in the accounts. They should not be described as conventional brokerage accounts without qualification.
Were Leveled Up Society’s daily payouts still available?
No current availability can be established. Daily-payout claims belong to old promotional material, while the original brand and website are no longer operating independently.

The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Leveled Up Society should not be presented as a current, good prop trading firm. The brand has been discontinued as an independent operation, its associated Florida LLC is inactive, and historical customers reported substantial payout, support, migration and rule-enforcement problems. The evidence is not enough to label every past interaction a proven scam, but it is more than enough to advise readers not to buy a new Leveled Up challenge or rely on its old terms.
If you are evaluating Alpha Funded, treat it as a separate current program. Review its own legal entity, simulated-account disclosure, trading rules, refund policy and payout conditions before paying anything.
