Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday, November 27, but furniture sales may start earlier or run past the day itself. Retailers have not all announced their exact event dates or item-level offers, so there is no verified 2026 deal list to recommend yet. If you’re planning a purchase, shortlist the right furniture now and compare live offers by complete delivered cost, availability, and purchase terms—not the advertised discount alone.
What furniture is likely to appear in Black Friday sales?
Retailers’ published category lists point to several recurring areas to watch. Ashley’s US 2026 page includes bedroom furniture and mattresses; sofas, sectionals, recliners, accent seating and tables; dining furniture; desks and office pieces; decor; and outdoor seating. UK retailer DFS lists sofas, beds, mattresses, sofa beds and dining furniture. These are sale categories, not promises that every item will be discounted.
- Living rooms: sofas, sectionals, recliners, accent chairs and tables.
- Bedrooms: beds, bedroom furniture and mattresses.
- Dining rooms: tables, chairs and benches.
- Other spaces: desks, office furniture, decor and outdoor seating, depending on retailer.
Check the retailer’s product page for the exact model, size, material, configuration and included pieces. A lower price on a different fabric, dimension or sectional layout is not a like-for-like saving.
When do Black Friday furniture deals start?
Friday, November 27, 2026 is the Black Friday date identified by UK retailer DFS, but the sale window is retailer-specific. DFS says its savings last longer than a day; its page has not yet specified the start details. US retailer Living Spaces says its exact 2026 dates are not public and describes a November event aligned with the holiday weekend. It also directs shoppers to regular sale items.
#1 Best Overall
That makes it worth checking sale pages before and after Black Friday rather than waiting for one day. Some retailers may have offers outside the event, including regular sale, clearance, outlet or ex-display stock. BoConcept describes an annual late-November Black Friday Week spanning living, dining, bedroom, home office and storage; its page states 15% off new products and rarely discounted designs, while stocks last, excluding outlet items. Treat that as the terms on that retailer’s page and confirm the current offer and exclusions before buying.
What current 2026 deals have retailers announced?
The available retailer information does not establish a comprehensive list of live 2026 furniture offers. Ashley has published a 2026 category page, while Living Spaces says its exact event dates are still to come. Check the live sale page and individual listing for the actual price, dates, stock and terms; an event announcement or category list does not establish that a particular item is on sale.

Last year’s promotions are not a reliable forecast. In a November 19, 2025 company release, Wayfair said its sale ran November 20 through December 1 and cited selected examples including sofas under $299, beds under $139 and dining chairs under $199. Those were Wayfair-reported prices for selected products in its 2025 promotion, not verified 2026 prices or a market-wide benchmark. Read Wayfair’s 2025 announcement.
How to compare the real cost of a furniture deal
Compare the same item and configuration across the prices and terms shown by retailers. A percentage off is not enough to determine whether the purchase fits your budget: delivery, assembly, location eligibility and stock can change the total or make an offer unavailable.

- Confirm the item. Record the model, dimensions, material, color, configuration and what is included. For a sofa, check dimensions against your room and route into the home.
- Check the price basis. Compare the live sale price with the retailer’s stated regular price, but do not treat that comparison as proof of market-wide value. The reviewed sources do not establish an independent average Black Friday furniture saving.
- Calculate the delivered total. Add delivery, assembly and any room-of-choice charges that apply. Confirm the delivery window and whether the service is available for your location and cart.
- Verify availability. Check stock for the chosen configuration and delivery area. Limited-stock claims can matter: BoConcept’s stated offer, for example, is while stocks last.
- Read the purchase terms. Review return and cancellation rules and any clearance or outlet exclusions before checkout.
- Evaluate financing separately. Check eligibility, total amount payable, and any deferred-interest conditions. Financing is not a discount, and approval is not guaranteed.
Delivery, returns and financing depend on the retailer
There is no single Black Friday furniture delivery or financing policy. Living Spaces describes online and store shopping, pickup options, and delivery subject to location and cart; its financing is subject to credit approval. Ashley’s page also includes financing language with eligibility requirements and exclusions. These are retailer-specific terms, not standard conditions for furniture promotions.
Before placing an order, review the terms attached to the specific item and your location. Confirm whether delivery reaches your address, what services are included, when the item is expected, and what happens if you cancel or return it. If using financing, read the agreement for the total cost and the conditions for any promotional period.

Should you buy furniture now or wait for Black Friday?
Waiting may make sense if your purchase is flexible and you want to compare event offers, but waiting does not guarantee a lower price or available stock. If you need the furniture sooner, compare current sale and clearance options against the full delivered total and terms. Living Spaces points shoppers to regular sale items, and BoConcept’s event description excludes outlet items, so check both event and non-event inventory where relevant.
If you buy before Black Friday, do not assume the retailer will adjust the price afterward. The cited retailer information does not establish a universal price-adjustment policy. Check the retailer’s current price-match or post-purchase adjustment terms before buying, and note any deadline or exclusions in writing.

Is Black Friday a good time to buy furniture?
It can be a useful time to compare offers on common categories such as sofas, beds, mattresses and dining furniture, but an event label alone does not show that a deal is the best available price. Retailer dates, stock, delivery and financing terms differ, and there is no independent market-wide savings figure established by the cited material. The strongest basis for a decision is a like-for-like comparison of the item’s delivered cost and purchase terms.
Sources and market scope
Retail examples here are market-specific: Ashley, Wayfair and Living Spaces are discussed in a US context; DFS is a UK example. Retailer pages may change as event dates and offers are updated. Confirm the live listing and applicable terms for your market before ordering.
