What the reported offer included
According to MobileSyrup’s April 15, 2025 report, a text sent to a customer described a plan with these terms:

- Payment: Pre-authorized bank payment was required.
- Phone condition: The customer needed to upgrade to a new phone with Koodo Tab.

Is the plan available now?
The cited report documents an offer received in April 2025; it does not verify current availability. Koodo’s service terms, updated May 1, 2026, say that rates and services can change and that promotional eligibility and benefits may be changed or removed. Those general terms do not confirm whether this particular plan remains available or whether its original conditions still apply.

Check the offer shown in your own Koodo Self Serve account and review its complete terms before changing plans or financing a phone. Ask Koodo to confirm the monthly price, payment requirement, Tab condition, promotion duration, and whether switching would affect any existing credits or features.
Why this is different from Koodo’s earlier $65/120GB reports
MobileSyrup covered account-specific $65/120GB Canada–US offers in July and November 2024, but those reports described 5G plans. The April 2025 report describes 4G. The earlier coverage does not establish that the 2025 offer continued, or that the plans had interchangeable terms.

What to compare before accepting an account offer
If your account shows more than one option, compare the full conditions rather than the headline price. The available reporting does not establish all the details for this particular promotion, so confirm each item directly in your offer terms:
- Monthly price after any payment discount, and how long that price lasts.
- Data allowance and network generation or speed conditions.
- Where Canada–US use applies and any exclusions.
- Whether a phone upgrade or Tab financing is required.
- Eligibility rules, promotion duration, and what happens when the promotion ends.
- Whether changing plans affects existing bill credits, features, or other account benefits.
Koodo’s terms also state that a device must meet its standards to work on the service and that roaming availability can vary. Confirm compatibility and any roaming details that matter to you rather than assuming that the plan description answers those questions.
