Walmart’s 2025 Black Friday promotions ran in two waves—Nov. 14–16 and Nov. 25–30—with a separate online-only Cyber Monday sale on Dec. 1. Walmart was closed on Thanksgiving; most stores were reported to open at 6 a.m. local time on Black Friday. The advertised prices below are historical, not live offers.
When did Walmart’s 2025 Black Friday deals start?
Walmart announced two Black Friday events, followed by Cyber Monday. The retailer’s Oct. 27, 2025 announcement, republished by Nasdaq, gave these dates and access windows:
| Event | Dates and availability | Walmart+ early online access |
|---|---|---|
| Black Friday Event 1 | Nov. 14–16, online and in stores | Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. ET, five hours before general online access |
| Black Friday Event 2 | Nov. 25–27, online only; Nov. 28–30, online and in stores | Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. ET, five hours before general online access |
| Cyber Monday | Dec. 1, online only | Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. ET |
The schedule was not one sale limited to Black Friday itself. Walmart+ early access applied online, and the announcement described a five-hour head start for members before each Black Friday event.
What time did Walmart close on Black Friday?
The Associated Press reported that Walmart was closed on Thanksgiving and that most stores would open at 6 a.m. local time on Black Friday. NJ.com reported hours of 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Nov. 28, 2025. That reported schedule should not be treated as confirmation of every branch’s hours; local schedules can vary, so shoppers needing a particular store’s hours should check that location’s store information.

How should you interpret the advertised savings?
Walmart U.S. president and CEO John Furner said the retailer was offering “up to 60% off top brands” and “thousands of deals under $20.” Those are Walmart’s promotional claims in its 2025 announcement, not an independently audited count or a verified comparison across retailers. The listed prior prices likewise come from that announcement; they do not by themselves show how long an item sold at that price or whether the deal was the best available.

What to check before relying on a deal listing
- Match the exact product. General names in the announcement may not identify a precise model number, configuration, or SKU. Compare specifications before treating two listings as equivalent.
- Verify the current listing. The advertised 2025 price does not establish today’s price or availability. Walmart’s current Black Friday page is a dynamic shopping page, not an archive of the 2025 event.
- Check fulfillment and timing. Confirm whether the offer is available online or at a store, and review pickup or delivery timing for the item and location you intend to use.
- Review purchase terms. Check the applicable return terms and any item-specific conditions on the listing before buying.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
