The IBPS RRB XIII preliminary admit-card notice is a historical 2024 update, not a current download announcement. IBPS’s CRP updates page now lists later RRB recruitment cycles, so do not assume an old XIII call-letter link is still active. The XIII notification named the official IBPS website, www.ibps.in, as the download source; a working legacy XIII endpoint has not been verified.
What the RRB XIII admit-card notice said
IBPS referred to the admit card as a “call letter.” Eligible candidates were instructed to download it from the official IBPS website using their registration number and password or date of birth. The call letter provided the candidate’s examination centre, venue address, date and time.
IBPS stated: “No hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier.” Candidates therefore had to download the document themselves and follow the instructions printed in it and in the Information Handout.
Is the IBPS RRB XIII download link still available?
IBPS’s CRP updates page shows activity for later RRB cycles. That supports treating the XIII preliminary call-letter notice as archived, but it does not establish whether an old candidate-login endpoint remains technically accessible. The exact original release day and a working direct XIII download URL have not been established.

If you are checking an old XIII record, start only from the official IBPS website and follow its candidate-login route if one is offered. Do not rely on an unverified third-party login or assume a link in an old article or video is current. For a later recruitment cycle, use the call-letter notice for that cycle rather than XIII instructions.
Documents candidates were told to take to the exam
IBPS’s XIII instructions listed the following items and handling steps for preliminary examination candidates:
Rank #2
- Ideal for Gifting
- Ideal for a bookworm
- Compact for travelling
- Bring the preliminary call letter.
- Bring an additional photograph matching the photograph pasted on the call letter.
- Bring the other documents specified in the call letter and Information Handout.
- Keep the preliminary call letter after the exam. Centre staff would authenticate or stamp it rather than collect it.
- Retain the call letter together with the authenticated or stamped copy of the ID proof.
Candidates who had opted for a scribe were instructed to complete the scribe details while downloading the call letter and bring the separately downloaded scribe declaration form. IBPS said the form would be collected at the preliminary examination.

IBPS’s later Office Assistant notice said the preliminary examination results were being made available and gave 6 October 2024 as the expected date for the Office Assistant main examination. That was an expected mains date, not a date for the XIII preliminary examination.
