Amazon describes fast delivery—including Same-Day, One-Day and Two-Day delivery—as a Prime benefit on millions of items. That does not mean every product, destination or speed is eligible, or that Prime has no cost: compare the membership price with the delivery benefits you would actually use. A product page and checkout show the offer for the selected item and address.
Same-Day Delivery has separate rates
Same-Day Delivery is a faster option with its own eligibility rules and charges; do not treat its rates as the standard-shipping price. Amazon Customer Service lists the following U.S. rates, checked October 4, 2026:

Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods grocery delivery have separate service-fee and threshold rules. They are not general parcel-delivery charges. For example, Amazon’s grocery help guidance says Fresh orders over $100 with a two-hour window are free with Prime and have no service fee. Amazon’s Whole Foods customer-service page lists grocery service fees of $9.95 for Prime members and $13.95 for non-Prime customers. These grocery terms may differ by location or order; check the local grocery offer before ordering.

- Check the item page. Confirm whether the product is eligible for the delivery offer you want and whether it is fulfilled and shipped by Amazon.
- Choose the delivery speed. Standard, expedited and Same-Day offers are not interchangeable; a faster speed may have a separate charge.
- Enter your delivery address. Availability, timing and Same-Day minimums can depend on your ZIP code.
