Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) advertised 340 Probationary Engineer posts in 2025, but the application window closed on 14 November 2025. You cannot apply under that notice now. The recruitment covered Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science and Electrical disciplines; anyone checking for results or a fresh notice should use BEL’s official Job Notifications page.
What the 2025 BEL recruitment offered
BEL Advertisement No. 17556/HR/All-India/2025/2, dated 24 October 2025, announced 340 Probationary Engineer vacancies across four disciplines.

No. Online registration opened at 11:00 a.m. on 24 October 2025, and the last date to submit the application and fee was 14 November 2025. That deadline has passed. Eligibility in the original notice
Degree and branch
The notice required a B.E., B.Tech. or B.Sc. Engineering degree in a listed discipline from an AICTE-approved college. It also accepted first-class AMIE, AMIETE or GIETE qualifications in those disciplines. Other equivalent disciplines and dual specializations were expressly excluded, so a similar-sounding branch should not be assumed eligible.
- Electronics: Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Telecommunication, Communication, or Telecommunication.
- Mechanical: Mechanical.
- Computer Science: the Computer Science variants listed in the advertisement.
- Electrical: Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Class of degree and grade conversion
First class was required for UR, OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates. SC, ST and PwBD candidates could apply with pass class. Candidates whose final results were recorded as CGPA or another grade were required to use their institution’s conversion formula and provide a conversion certificate if shortlisted.

Age limit and relaxation
The upper age limit for UR and EWS candidates was 25 years on the crucial date, 1 October 2025. The notice allowed five years’ relaxation for SC/ST candidates and three years for OBC (NCL) candidates. PwBD candidates could receive ten years’ relaxation, additional to the applicable SC/ST/OBC relaxation.
Selection stages and qualifying marks
The process comprised shortlisting, a computer-based test and an interview. The contemporaneous report gives the test a weight of 85 marks and the interview 15 marks. Minimum qualifying marks were separately set at 35% in both the test and interview for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 30% in both stages for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. Meeting a qualifying threshold did not, by itself, guarantee selection.
Application fee and the advertised compensation
The reported application fee was ₹1,180 for GEN/EWS/OBC (NCL) candidates; SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates were exempt. The fee was non-refundable. These were terms of the closed 2025 recruitment, not a current payment request.
The advertisement listed a pay scale of ₹40,000–₹1,40,000 with 3% increments and an approximate cost to company (CTC) of ₹13 lakh. It also listed DA, HRA, conveyance allowance, performance-related pay, medical reimbursement and other admissible perquisites. Approximate CTC is not a guaranteed take-home salary.

Check notices and avoid recruitment-payment scams
BEL says recruitments are advertised through its official website and cautions that it does not collect money beyond an application fee specified in the advertisement. Its Job Notifications page warns about fraudulent offers seeking security, interview or other charges. Do not pay anyone claiming to arrange an interview, secure selection or provide an unofficial application route.
