Check the subscription list in each Apple, Google Play, Roku and Amazon account you use, then match the entries against your bank or card statement. No single platform shows every streaming subscription: a service may bill you directly, or the charge may be tied to a different account. Check who bills the subscription before you cancel it, because the cancellation route can differ from the app or device you use to watch.
Check Apple subscriptions
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your account name, then tap Subscriptions.
- Confirm that the signed-in Apple Account is the one used when you subscribed. If you are unsure, look for the subscription receipt; Apple says it can help identify the Apple Account associated with the purchase.
- Compare the subscription with your statements to confirm that the charge is still being billed through Apple.
Apple’s cancellation guidance also covers other supported ways to manage subscriptions. One important exception: if an Apple TV subscription on Android is billed through Google Play, manage or cancel it in Google Play rather than through Apple.
Check Google Play subscriptions
- On your Android device, open Google Play.
- Tap your profile icon, then choose Payments & subscriptions and Subscriptions.
- Check that Google Play is showing the Google Account you used to subscribe. If the service is missing, switch accounts and check again.
Uninstalling a streaming app does not cancel its Google Play subscription. Use the subscription manager for the account holding the subscription, and check the cancellation confirmation and access end date. Google says access generally continues through the period already paid for.
Check Roku subscriptions and purchase history
- Sign in to your Roku account and visit my.roku.com/subscriptions.
- Review your Roku purchase history as well as the subscription list.
- Compare those records with your bank or card statement. Roku says its subscription charges may appear as “Roku,” “Roku for ___,” or “The Roku Channel.”
If a statement charge is not in Roku purchase history, Roku says the subscription was purchased directly from the service provider. Using a streaming app on a Roku device does not, by itself, mean Roku bills you for it.

Know who handles cancellation
Roku says subscribers billed by Roku for Disney+, Hulu or Sling TV should contact those services directly to manage or cancel. A subscription purchased directly from any provider is also managed through that provider. In other words, a Roku billing record can help identify a charge without always being the place to cancel it. After canceling, check the confirmation and end date; Roku says access continues through the end of the billing period.
Check Amazon Prime Video Channels
In Prime Video, look in the Channels or subscriptions area of the Amazon account used to subscribe. Prime Video Channels are add-on streaming subscriptions managed through Prime Video, rather than necessarily through the channel’s standalone signup. Amazon says channel availability and pricing depend on territory, so the selection shown in your account may vary by location.

If a subscription is missing
- Verify the account. Check the Apple Account or Google Account used at signup. An Apple receipt can help identify the Apple Account; Google says a missing subscription may be associated with a different Google Account.
- Use the statement as a clue. Match the charge name and amount against the platform’s billing or purchase history. For Roku, the descriptors above are examples of Roku-billed charges; a charge absent from Roku history may instead be billed by the provider.
- Check direct billing with the streaming provider. If a service works in an app on your device, that does not establish that the device platform bills it. Look at the provider account or contact the provider when the platform account has no matching record.
- Check Prime Video Channels separately. An Amazon channel add-on may be managed through Prime Video even if you also use the service’s own app.
- Do not treat deleting the app as cancellation. Google explicitly says uninstalling an app does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
- Confirm cancellation in the billing account. Keep the confirmation and note when access ends. Google and Roku say access generally remains available through the already-paid billing period.
These account paths reflect Apple, Google Play, Roku and Amazon guidance accessed on October 4, 2026. Labels can vary by device, app version, language and region; if a menu name has changed, look for the account’s current subscriptions, purchases or billing area.
