Woman & Home calls it its best indoor-outdoor slipper, and Best Vacuum Expert names it its top pick for most people. Those are publishers’ recommendations, not the result of a standardized test comparing every UGG slipper.
There isn’t enough current, model-specific evidence to support an “11 best” ranking. This guide instead compares the UGG slipper models substantiated by current sources, explains which features matter, and flags prices as a dated Canadian snapshot rather than universal prices.
Which UGG slipper should you choose?
Start with where you plan to wear the slipper and whether you prefer an open or closed heel. The Tasman II is the strongest candidate for indoor-outdoor versatility in the reviewed coverage. For an indoor-focused open-heel style, a current retailer guide points to the Scuffette II. Choose a platform silhouette if that is a priority, but check the model generation and regional specifications before buying.
| Model | Best-supported angle | What to check before buying |
|---|---|---|
| Tasman II | Indoor-outdoor versatility; Woman & Home calls it its best indoor-outdoor slipper, and Best Vacuum Expert calls it its top pick for most people. | Closed-back fit, sole, current size guidance, and local price. |
| Scuffette II | Open-heel, indoor-focused option, according to a current retailer guide. | Warmth, fit, and whether the sole is intended for your planned use; do not assume it is an outdoor shoe. |
| Tazz / Tazz II | Platform silhouette. OD’s Designer Clothing guide describes the Tazz as having a 1.75-inch platform. | Confirm whether the listing is Tazz or Tazz II; verify platform details and suitability for your intended setting. |
| Disquette | Platform style. UGG’s UK product page lists a 1-inch platform. | Check the product page for your market because listed construction can differ by region. |
| Coquette | Current candidate in UGG Canada’s slipper assortment. | Verify current materials and intended use on the local product page. |
| Ansley | Current candidate in UGG Canada’s slipper assortment. | Verify current lining, outsole, and fit on the local product page. |
| Tasman Deconstructed | Current candidate in UGG Canada’s slipper assortment. | Check what the “Deconstructed” version changes and whether it is in stock locally. |
| Elea Slip-On | Current candidate in UGG Canada’s slipper assortment. | Verify its construction and whether the listing remains current. |
These are evidence-backed candidates, not an exhaustive list of UGG slippers or an eleven-item ranking. The available sources do not substantiate three more distinct slipper models well enough to assign them a “best for” label.
#1 Best Overall
What the Tasman II offers
UGG’s Spring 2026 catalog lists the Tasman II with a suede upper, recycled-polyester UGGbraid, 17mm UGGplush lining and insole, foam footbed, and sugarcane EVA outsole. Woman & Home’s digital editor Kerrie Hughes described her experience buying it this way: “As someone who, up to this point, had never worn slippers, what possessed me to spend £80 on a pair is beyond me.” That is Hughes’s personal comment in the publication’s review, not evidence of a broader expert consensus.
The Tasman and Tazz share the UGGbraid collar in OD’s comparison, while the Tazz adds a platform. Since product names and generations vary across listings, compare the exact model page rather than assuming every Tazz specification applies to a Tazz II.

How to compare the styles
Indoor or indoor-outdoor
A shoe-like outsole may make a slipper more practical for brief outdoor errands, but do not treat that as a guarantee of weather protection, traction, or suitability for extended outdoor wear. The official UGG UK women’s slipper category describes its outsoles as sturdy and says they offer traction; that is brand marketing, not independent safety testing. For the Scuffette II, the retailer guide frames it as an indoor option, so check the specific regional product page before wearing it outside.
Open heel or closed back
An open heel is easier to slip into and out of, while a closed back may feel more secure on the foot. The Scuffette II is the open-heel choice in the reviewed guide; the Tasman II is the more enclosed option. Individual fit and comfort still depend on the wearer.

Flat or platform
The Tasman II is the lower-profile choice in this comparison. UGG’s UK page lists the Disquette’s platform at 1 inch, while OD’s Designer Clothing guide gives the Tazz a 1.75-inch platform. Those figures describe different models and come from different sources; check the exact regional listing if platform height matters to you.
Lining, upper, and outsole
Compare the materials on the product page for the exact model and region. The Tasman II’s listed suede upper, UGGplush lining and insole, foam footbed, and sugarcane EVA outsole offer concrete points of comparison. Do not assume that another style—or the same style sold in a different market—uses identical materials.

How should UGG slippers fit?
Fit advice in the reviewed secondary guides is not universal evidence for every model. Best Vacuum Expert says many pairs start snug and may relax, and recommends sizing up for wide feet. Woman & Home provides a specific editor’s experience with the Tasman II, not a fit rule for all buyers. Check UGG’s current size guide for your market and model, and consider your foot width and preferred fit before ordering.

Are there really 11 best UGG slippers?
The current sources support a useful shortlist, not eleven distinct, well-substantiated recommendations. UGG Canada’s assortment identifies seven candidates, and OD’s guide adds discussion of Tazz and Tazz II. That still does not establish an eleven-model ranking, nor does it show that all the pairs were independently tested. A shorter comparison is more reliable than filling out a list with variants or unrelated footwear.
