To transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to World of Hyatt, open the travel-partner transfer section in Chase Ultimate Rewards, select World of Hyatt, enter the amount, review the rate shown for your card, and confirm. Check that the Hyatt award you want is available first: Chase says transfers are final, and it may take time for points to arrive.

Before you transfer: check availability and your rate

Find the specific Hyatt stay you intend to book and confirm that award space is available for your dates. A transfer does not guarantee the room will still be available when the points arrive.

Check the conversion rate displayed in your Chase Ultimate Rewards account before submitting. Chase announced a 4:3 transfer rate to World of Hyatt effective October 1, 2026, for specified cardholders: Sapphire Preferred applicants who applied before June 15, 2026; new and existing Ink Business Preferred cardmembers; and existing Ink Plus and Corporate Flex cardmembers. For those groups, 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points converts to 750 World of Hyatt points. Sapphire Preferred applicants from June 15, 2026 onward receive the updated rate immediately, according to Chase’s announcement.

That announcement does not establish a complete current rate table for every eligible card. Do not assume your card earns the same ratio as another card: use the rate shown in your own account.

How to transfer Chase points to World of Hyatt

  1. Sign in to Chase Ultimate Rewards on Chase.com or in the Chase Mobile app. Chase’s transfer instructions list Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, and Ink Business Preferred among the cards that provide access to point transfers.
  2. Open the travel-partner point-transfer area and choose World of Hyatt. If you do not have a Hyatt loyalty account, create one before continuing.
  3. Make sure the name on your Chase account matches the name on your Hyatt account, as Chase advises.
  4. Enter the number of Ultimate Rewards points to transfer. Chase requires transfers in 1,000-point increments.
  5. Review the conversion rate and the resulting Hyatt point amount shown for your account. Confirm only if the amount is correct and you are ready to proceed.
  6. Once the points arrive, sign in to Hyatt and book the available award stay.

How long does a Chase-to-Hyatt transfer take?

Chase says many partner transfers process by the next business day, but some can take up to seven business days. Because the award you want could become unavailable while you wait, verify availability before transferring and avoid sending points until you are prepared to use them.

Can you reverse a transfer?

No. Chase says completed transfers are final. Check the destination account, amount, displayed rate, and award availability before confirming; a mistaken or no-longer-needed transfer cannot be undone through the transfer process.
