The best credit card for a Las Vegas hotel depends on where you’re staying: choose an MGM Rewards card for an MGM Resorts stay, a Hilton Honors card for a Hilton property, or Marriott Bonvoy Boundless for a participating Marriott hotel. There isn’t enough verified information to rank six current cards fairly, so this comparison focuses on five cards with issuer-published details—and explains what to check before choosing one.

Choose the card that matches your Las Vegas hotel
For MGM Resorts destinations
Compare MGM’s two cards based on the annual fee and the credit you can actually use. MGM says the Iconic card’s $200 resort credit is available upon opening and annually at card anniversary, and applies to specified eligible resort spending, including room charges and resort fees. The World Elite card is listed with no annual fee, but MGM’s summary does not list that Iconic credit for it. Check the detailed card terms to confirm eligibility, qualifying purchases, and how the credit is applied.
For Hilton properties
The Surpass card may suit a Hilton guest who can use its quarterly property statement credits and values Gold status enough to justify the annual fee. The no-annual-fee Hilton Honors American Express Card offers Silver status and Hilton earning without an annual card fee. These benefits are relevant to Hilton portfolio stays; they are not general-purpose Las Vegas hotel credits. Review Hilton’s card comparison and terms for current details.

For participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels
Boundless is worth considering if the current free-night offer fits your spending plans and you can redeem the award at a participating property. A redemption’s value depends on the hotel, date, award availability, and the award’s points ceiling. Chase cautions that some Marriott hotels charge resort fees, so an award night may not eliminate every charge. Check the hotel’s fee disclosure and the current card offer before counting on a free night.
How to decide whether the benefits outweigh the cost
- Identify the hotel and loyalty program. Confirm the property’s current affiliation and whether the booking earns or accepts the relevant program’s benefits. Hotel-brand cards are most useful when you can book within that brand.
- Compare usable value, not headline value. Set the annual fee against credits or awards you are likely to use on eligible purchases. A credit has little practical value if your stay or spending does not qualify.
- Check what earns rewards. Review the issuer’s definitions of eligible hotel, room, resort-fee, or other purchases. Do not assume every charge at a hotel earns the same rate or qualifies for a statement credit.
- Price the complete stay. Check resort fees and other charges directly with the property. Award nights and card credits do not necessarily cover them.
- Consider whether you can use the rewards. Compare the program’s hotels and redemption conditions with your travel plans. Brand-specific points and certificates are less useful if you cannot or will not book within that program.
Does Caesars Rewards have a verified card option?
Caesars Rewards says qualifying room-rate and resort-fee spending earns Reward Credits and Tier Credits. Its help information, dated December 2, 2022, describes loyalty earning; it does not establish that a Caesars-branded credit card is currently available. Why this is a five-card comparison, not a six-card ranking
The verified issuer information supports five specific cards across MGM, Hilton, and Marriott. It does not support naming a sixth distinct card with current availability and terms, or ranking six cards against one another. Caesars’ loyalty earning rules alone are not evidence of a currently offered credit card. Treat this as a hotel-brand shortlist, not a universal ranking.
