Engadget reported that Amazon offered TurboTax Deluxe Desktop Edition 2025, Federal and State, for $45 on January 21, 2026. Its comparison price was $80, making the reported discount $35, or 44 percent. Those figures describe the offer reported on that date; they do not establish today’s Amazon price. What Desktop Deluxe includes—and what may cost extra
Intuit says the desktop software price includes federal tax preparation and printing, plus free federal e-file for up to five federal returns. Desktop Deluxe also includes one state download.
