The best-documented Kamala Harris campaign merchandise from the 2020 election cycle is historical, not a verified current shopping list. Two standout shirts were “That Little Girl Was Me,” offered for preorder after the June 27, 2019 debate, and “Kamala Harris for the People,” which the Los Angeles Times reported as the campaign shop’s top-selling T-shirt in October 2019. Current official stock, prices and authorized sellers are not established here.
Notable Kamala Harris campaign shirts
“That Little Girl Was Me”
Harris’s line from the June 27, 2019 Democratic debate became the wording on a campaign shirt offered for preorder afterward. The Los Angeles Times reported a preorder price of $29.99 in 2019; that is a historical price, not a current offer or price expectation. The phrase refers to Harris’s account of challenging then-Senator Joe Biden over school busing during the debate.
“Kamala Harris for the People”
“For the People” was a campaign slogan and the design on a shirt that the Los Angeles Times ranked first among Harris’s shirts at the time of its October 2019 coverage. That ranking is a contemporaneous report, not a campaign-wide sales figure.
What made the campaign designs distinctive
The 2019 Los Angeles Times feature described a palette of yellow, purple, black and red. Yellow served as a symbolic nod to Shirley Chisholm’s 1972 presidential campaign. The feature also highlighted a purple-toned portrait by artist Tracie Ching, then available on T-shirts and glossy posters, and a purple, star-spangled bandanna. These are documented examples from that campaign period, not confirmation that the designs remain for sale.

Other merchandise categories documented
A trademark record for “KAMALA HARRIS FOR THE PEOPLE” lists goods or planned online retail categories that went beyond shirts: tanks, hoodies, pajamas, aprons, headwear, buttons, posters, greeting cards, stationery, stickers, decals, tote bags, mugs, drinkware, insulated beverage containers, ornaments and yard signs. The record reports that the mark was abandoned on March 15, 2021. A category in a trademark record does not prove that a specific item was sold, and it does not establish present availability.
How to assess a present-day listing
Treat the designs above as historically notable campaign merchandise, not as a buying recommendation for a live listing. Before paying, check the item’s seller, the listing’s evidence of authorization, and whether the description identifies a genuine vintage item, a reproduction or unofficial fan-made merchandise. A campaign-style slogan or logo alone does not establish that a seller is authorized or that proceeds benefit a campaign.

Official merchandise also has a fundraising dimension: The Washington Post’s February 28, 2020 feature explained that sales of official campaign merchandise are considered campaign contributions and discussed their role in fundraising and branding. That context does not verify the status of any current seller or listing. Read The Washington Post’s analysis of 2020 campaign merchandise.
