Bre Tiesi Lawsuit: What’s Confirmed About the Claims and Selling Sunset Season 9

Three former employees sued Bre Tiesi in Los Angeles in April 2024, alleging workplace harassment, discrimination or retaliation, emotional distress, and wage-law violations. The lawsuit has not been shown here to involve a verified $12 million demand: the reporting reviewed gives conflicting descriptions of the amount, and neither supports that headline figure.

What is Bre Tiesi being sued for?

The Independent reported that Lucy Poole, Amanda Bustard, and Kenneth Gomez filed suit against Tiesi on April 25, 2024. The plaintiffs alleged harassment, discrimination or retaliation based on sex, gender, or sexual orientation, emotional distress, and violations of California labor laws concerning hours, working conditions, and wages. The Independent’s report attributes those claims to court documents.

These are allegations made by the plaintiffs, not findings that a court has determined to be true. The complaint and an official current court docket have not been independently reviewed for this account.

Is the lawsuit really for $12 million?

The sources reviewed do not verify a $12 million demand. The Independent reported that plaintiffs sought more than $3 million in damages from each former employee’s claim. A later legal-update page describes the complaint as seeking over $3 million total. Those descriptions conflict, and neither substantiates a $12 million figure. The Independent’s account and the legal-update page are secondary reports, not a substitute for checking the filed complaint.

A requested damages amount is not an award or proof of liability. The exact amount requested, as well as any judgment or settlement, cannot be confirmed from the available reporting.

What does the lawsuit have to do with Selling Sunset season 9?

Marie Claire’s coverage of season 9 places Tiesi’s ongoing lawsuit among the off-screen controversies surrounding the season. The material reviewed does not establish how particular episodes portray the lawsuit, whether it is discussed on screen, or what any scene says about the allegations. It would be inaccurate to claim a specific episode or season-long storyline without episode-level evidence.

What is known about the case’s current status?

The status remains unconfirmed here. A secondary legal-update page dated August 25, 2026 says its status information was current as of May 14, 2026 and describes the case as active. Its account differs from the 2024 reporting on party names and the damages description, and the court records it cites were not independently retrieved. It therefore does not establish the case’s status, any ruling, or any settlement as of October 2026. See the legal-update page.
