The 2024 Steam Spring Sale ran March 14–21, ending at 10 a.m. Pacific. The picks below are editorial selections from offers reported during that sale—not current prices or a guide to an active promotion. Compare the historical price and discount in your own storefront currency, since US and UK prices are separate regional listings.
What the 2024 Steam Spring Sale included
Valve’s official announcement said the event offered discounts and demos across thousands of games, along with daily free sticker drops. The sale ended March 21, 2024, at 10 a.m. Pacific.
PC Gamer published its contemporaneous selection of deals on March 15. The prices below are archived examples from that roundup; they do not establish what a game costs today. Dollar and pound amounts reflect different storefront currencies and should not be treated as exchange-rate equivalents.

These are a cross-section of the roundup, not a universal ranking. The selection balances game age, sale price, discount, budget band and—where the roundup supplied context—whether an offer beat or matched an earlier sale.

What was not on sale
The roundup noted that Elden Ring was not discounted during the March 2024 Steam Spring Sale. That is useful context when reviewing the event’s coverage: a large sale across thousands of games did not mean every popular title had an offer.

- Separate price from percentage off. A larger discount does not necessarily mean the lowest checkout price; consider the listed regional amount and the game you want.
- Keep currencies and regions separate. The US dollar and UK pound figures are distinct storefront prices, not directly comparable amounts, and regional pricing can differ.
- Treat prior-sale comparisons cautiously. PC Gamer supplied earlier-sale context for selected titles, but the examples above do not establish a prior-sale comparison for every game.
- Check current listings independently. These March 2024 prices expired with the event and do not indicate present-day Steam pricing.
PC Gamer’s contemporaneous article included an affiliate-commission disclosure; that disclosure applies to its own links and does not establish a current affiliate arrangement for another publisher.
