‘General Hospital’ Cast Net Worth: What Can Be Verified in 2026

ABC lists a current featured cast, but available online net-worth figures are unverified and come from an older article with outdated cast details—not a reliable ranking.

There is no reliable, evidence-based ranking of the current General Hospital cast by personal net worth. ABC’s featured cast page provides a current cast snapshot, but the net-worth figures circulating online come from an older, unverified article with outdated cast details and no disclosed calculation method. Here is what those estimates claim—and why they should not be treated as a definitive ranking.

Who counts as the current General Hospital cast?

“Cast” can mean ABC’s featured performers or the broader group of contract and recurring actors. ABC’s featured cast page includes, among others, Donnell Turner as Curtis Ashford, Tanisha Harper as Jordan Ashford, Rebecca Herbst as Elizabeth Baldwin, Cameron Mathison as Drew Cain, Genie Francis as Laura Collins, Rory Gibson as Michael Corinthos, Maurice Benard as Sonny Corinthos, Nancy Lee Grahn as Alexis Davis, Finola Hughes as Anna Devane, Eden McCoy as Josslyn Jacks, and Steve Burton as Jason Morgan. It is a featured list, not a guarantee of every performer currently appearing or employed on the show.

The roster changes. A Soap Opera Digest cast guide dated August 31, 2026 describes those changes and notes, for example, that Rory Gibson took over the role of Michael Corinthos in 2025, Troy Lennon Appel joined in 2026, and Alimi Ballard was set to join in September 2026. That guide is a dated roster snapshot, so cast membership should be checked against current listings when precision matters.

What online net-worth estimates claim

One article that publishes specific amounts is Sid Vyper’s TVShowcast piece, “Meet the Main Cast of General Hospital with Their Net Worth.” It displays an update date of July 20, 2026, but also says it was originally posted June 11, 2020. The article claims the following estimates in its text:

Performer TVShowcast estimate Current-cast context
Laura Wright $10 million Not established as a current ABC featured cast member by the cited ABC list.
Nancy Lee Grahn $8 million Included on ABC’s featured cast page.
Finola Hughes Around $8 million Included on ABC’s featured cast page.
Genie Francis $5 million Included on ABC’s featured cast page.
Michael Easton $4 million Not established as a current ABC featured cast member by the cited ABC list.
Kelly Monaco $4 million Not established as a current ABC featured cast member by the cited ABC list.
Wes Ramsey $3 million Not established as a current ABC featured cast member by the cited ABC list.
Maurice Benard $2 million in the article text Included on ABC’s featured cast page.

These amounts are TVShowcast’s claims, not verified financial disclosures. The article provides no transparent methodology or primary financial basis for them. Its older original publication date, stale role references, and inclusion of performers who do not appear on ABC’s featured list make it unsuitable as a current, complete cast ranking. The article’s summary table also contains other values; those are not reproduced here because the available material does not establish a consistent, comparable set of estimates for the current featured cast.

Why a ranked list would be misleading

A net-worth ranking implies that each person’s assets and liabilities were measured on the same basis. The available estimates do not establish that. They are not accompanied by audited disclosures, documented calculations, or evidence that each figure uses a comparable date and method. A displayed update date does not by itself show that every estimate was freshly researched or independently verified.

  • The roster is not fixed: a list based on a 2020 article does not reliably define the current cast.
  • The amounts are not verified: the cited estimates are publisher assertions, not confirmed personal financial records.
  • The source does not show a common method: without comparable inputs and calculations, ordering the estimates would create false precision.
  • Character fortunes are irrelevant: Sonny Corinthos’s fictional wealth, or the Quartermaine family’s story-line fortunes, says nothing reliable about the actors’ personal finances.

For those reasons, the figures above should be read only as unverified online estimates attributed to TVShowcast, not as established net worth or a trustworthy ranking.

What the show’s history can—and cannot—tell you

ABC reports that Luke and Laura’s 1981 wedding drew 30 million viewers, calling it the highest-rated hour in American soap opera history. That is significant show-history context, but audience size is not evidence of any cast member’s personal wealth or compensation. ABC’s series background page also identifies Frank Valentini as executive producer and Patrick Mulcahey and Elizabeth Korte as co-head writers.
