Eighteen Loans Warehouse employees are aiming to walk six million steps during October 2026 in a virtual journey from Watford to Lapland and back. The fundraiser is intended to help buy Christmas presents for children supported by local charities and organisations, including Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. Donations are being requested through the team’s Christmas Delivery page on JustGiving.
What is the Loans Warehouse Lapland challenge?
Loans Warehouse, a specialist finance advice firm based in Watford, launched the month-long team fundraiser on 1 October 2026. The 18 participating employees plan to log their steps using the StepUp app and share progress during the month, according to Mortgage Solutions and a Loans Warehouse press release published by Cherry plc.
The original idea was a roughly three-million-step virtual walk from Watford to Lapland. After 18 employees signed up, the team doubled its goal to six million steps to represent the return journey with presents brought back to Watford.
