Catchnex says its Copy Competition runs from 1 September to 24 December 2026 at 23:59 UTC, ranking eligible participants by verified return on investment (ROI). The advertised $1.75 million pool is split among the top three, but Catchnex describes it as indicative—not money held, guaranteed or escrowed. Read the official competition page and rules before deciding whether to participate.
What is the Catchnex Copy Competition?
It is a time-limited contest for copy traders. According to Catchnex, the competition period is 1 September through 24 December 2026, closing at 23:59 UTC. Eligible participants are ranked by verified ROI earned during that period. The official rules are identified as version 27 August 2026, and Catchnex says the English version prevails over translations.
The contest page calls the total prize pool indicative. Catchnex says prizes are awarded only after results are verified and that the amount is not held, guaranteed or escrowed. The $1.75 million figure is therefore the organizer’s advertised pool, not confirmation that the full sum has been set aside.
How much can each place win?
Catchnex lists three cash awards, rather than a single $1.75 million prize for one trader:
#1 Best Overall
| Place | Advertised award |
|---|---|
| First | $1,000,000 |
| Second | $500,000 |
| Third | $250,000 |
These are contest terms published by Catchnex; the page does not describe the pool as guaranteed or escrowed. Final awards depend on verification under the official rules.
What do traders need to qualify?
The official competition summary sets minimum funding and activity thresholds. Meeting them does not by itself establish eligibility: Catchnex also lists jurisdiction restrictions and additional rules.

- Compact for travelling
- Own capital: at least $500 in the competition account. Bonus and credit funds do not count.
- Trading activity: at least 20 closed trades and 10 active trading days during the competition period.
- One account: one active competition account per participant. Catchnex prohibits resets, multiple entries and coordinated trading between related accounts.
- Winner checks: winners must complete identity verification. Catchnex says it checks results against platform records before payout.
The competition page says eligibility and jurisdiction limits apply. Its notices say Catchnex does not offer services to U.S. or Russian residents or citizens, Costa Rican residents, or people in jurisdictions subject to applicable international sanctions or where distribution or use would violate local law or regulation. This is not a complete legal analysis; check the current official rules and your own eligibility before applying.
How are traders ranked and results verified?
Competition-period ROI is the primary ranking measure. Catchnex says maximum drawdown is measured for each participant, published alongside ROI and used as the first tie-break. In other words, drawdown is not presented as an equal primary ranking metric.

The leaderboard refreshes daily at 00:05 UTC, but Catchnex calls standings during the competition provisional and nonbinding. A displayed position is not a final result or a promise of an award. The organizer says it verifies results against platform records and checks winners’ identities before awarding prizes.
What should you check in the official rules?
Catchnex’s rules page identifies a 20-section document covering topics including how ROI is ranked, open positions at the close, deposits and withdrawals, drawdown, identity checks, prohibited conduct, prizes, amendments and governing terms. The summary page does not settle all operational details.
Rank #4
Before participating, review the full rules for the precise ROI calculation, treatment of open positions and deposits or withdrawals, payment timing, dispute procedures and any other conditions that could affect your account or result. Do not assume a detail that is not stated in the public summary.

Catchnex warns that trading CFDs, crypto and leveraged products carries a high level of risk. It says leverage can magnify gains and losses, potentially beyond the initial deposit, and that copying a trader or strategy does not ensure similar results. Past performance does not guarantee future results; contest participation is not investment advice or an inducement to increase risk.
