As of October 3, 2026, The Points Guy’s October tracker reports a 20% American Express Membership Rewards transfer bonus to Aeroméxico Rewards through October 31, 2026. If the offer appears in your account, 1,000 Amex points would transfer as 1,920 Aeroméxico points; Amex’s standard ratio is 1,000 to 1,600. Check your account’s terms and confirm award space before transferring: eligibility may vary, and transfers cannot be reversed.
What the 20% Aeroméxico transfer bonus offers
The Points Guy’s October 2026 tracker lists a 20% bonus for transfers from American Express Membership Rewards to Aeroméxico Rewards, with an advertised end date of October 31, 2026. The tracker reports that 1,000 Membership Rewards points become 1,920 Aeroméxico points with the offer. American Express lists the standard transfer ratio as 1,000 Membership Rewards points to 1,600 Aeroméxico Rewards points.
| Transfer terms | Amex points sent | Aeroméxico points received | Source and qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard ratio | 1,000 | 1,600 | American Express transfer partner page, accessed October 3, 2026. |
| Reported October offer | 1,000 | 1,920 | The Points Guy October 2026 tracker; listed through October 31, 2026. The offer may be targeted. |
The bonus increases the number of Aeroméxico points you receive compared with the standard ratio. It does not establish the price or availability of any particular flight award, or guarantee that transferring points will be worthwhile for your plans.
Check whether the offer is available to you
Transfer bonuses can be targeted, so the tracker listing does not mean every Membership Rewards account will show the same terms. Sign in to your American Express account and check the live transfer offer before initiating a transaction. Use the terms shown there, including any eligibility and deadline details, as the basis for your decision.
#1 Best Overall
Find the award before you transfer
- Search Aeroméxico Rewards for the exact itinerary. Confirm that the award you intend to book is available for your dates and travelers.
- Check the Amex offer and transfer estimate in your account. Confirm that the bonus is displayed for you and review the transfer details before submitting.
- Compare the points required with and without the offer. Use the award price you found, not an assumed route price or general estimate.
- Transfer only when you are ready to book. American Express’s workflow has you choose a partner and transfer amount, then book after the estimated transfer time. Availability can change while you wait, and the Points Guy warns that transfers are irreversible.
Because the points cannot be returned to Membership Rewards after transfer, sending them before finding the specific award leaves you exposed to a change in availability or plans.

Aeroméxico Rewards has also advertised a separate 20% accumulation offer for referred new members during their first 90 days. That is not the Amex transfer bonus discussed here; the similarity in percentage does not make the offers interchangeable.
