Doodle Labs is reported to be moving its U.S. headquarters to the Austin metropolitan area, where it is operating from a WeWork while searching for a local lease. The company may need separate office and testing locations if it cannot find one property that serves both purposes. The move is reported by The Real Deal, citing Austin Business Journal coverage; a direct company announcement was not located.
What is known about the move?
The Real Deal reported on October 2, 2026, that Doodle Labs is relocating its U.S. headquarters to the Austin area. It said the company was working from a WeWork in Austin while looking for a local lease, and could seek separate premises for offices and testing if a single site does not meet both needs. The underlying Austin Business Journal report was not independently available, so the location and leasing details remain attributed reporting rather than a directly confirmed company announcement.
Doodle Labs previously had its U.S. headquarters in the Los Angeles area and also has a Singapore headquarters, according to the report. The company’s About page lists offices in Marina Del Rey, California, and Singapore. Those listed offices do not establish whether either location will close as a result of the Austin move.
Why did Doodle Labs choose Austin?
The Real Deal, relaying Austin Business Journal reporting, attributed the decision to co-CEO Amol Parikh. The reported reasons combine local access to defense and aerospace activity with practical testing and travel considerations:
