Qevlar AI raised an additional $10 million in April 2025 to expand its autonomous cybersecurity investigation platform, bringing investor commitments at the time to $14 million. EQT Ventures and Forgepoint Capital International led the round. The company later announced a separate $30 million round in March 2026, so the 2025 figure is not its latest funding milestone.

Qevlar AI raises $10 million — what does it build?

Qevlar AI is a Paris-based cybersecurity company founded in 2023. It sells an autonomous investigation API and AI security operations center (SOC) platform designed to investigate security alerts using an organization’s existing tools and data.

The additional $10 million announced on 8 April 2025 was intended to support growth and international expansion, hiring across teams, and product research and development. The amount brought total investor commitments to $14 million at that point.

What is Qevlar AI’s autonomous investigation platform?

The platform connects with existing security systems, including security information and event management (SIEM) and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools. It gathers and enriches internal and external data, correlates activity, investigates an alert, and produces a malicious, benign, or inconclusive verdict. It also creates a report and suggests remediation steps. Qevlar describes the system as able to start investigations without an analyst initiating them or a prewritten playbook dictating each step.

  • ✅Supports TensorFlow, TensorFlow Lite, ONNX, Keras, Pytorch frameworks
  • ✅Supports Linux and Windows. Supports the temperature range of -40°C to 85°C

That makes the product different in design from an assistant that only recommends actions after an analyst starts an investigation. How much autonomy is appropriate in a live SOC still depends on an organization’s policies, integrations, and human-review controls; the funding announcement does not establish how customers configure those controls.

How does an autonomous SOC investigate alerts?

  1. Connect to security tools: The platform accesses alert context and related data from connected SIEM and EDR systems.
  2. Collect and correlate evidence: It enriches the alert with internal and external information and looks for related activity.
  3. Reach a verdict: It classifies the case as malicious, benign, or inconclusive.
  4. Document and recommend: It generates an investigation report and proposes remediation.

Qevlar’s current product page reports an average investigation time of three minutes, up to 80% of tickets closed without a human, unattended investigations around the clock, and work on 100% of alerts rather than sampling. It also says the platform is in production at more than 1,500 organizations. These are company-reported figures, not independently audited outcomes, and the page does not provide a like-for-like competitor benchmark.

What performance figures did Qevlar report with the 2025 funding?

Qevlar’s April 2025 announcement said the platform reduced time spent on malicious alerts from 40 minutes to three minutes and cut Level 1 and Level 2 analysts’ time on alert-investigation tasks by 90%. The company also claimed 99.8% classification accuracy, compared with a cited maximum of 97% for human experts, and said it autonomously closed 100% of benign alerts.

Forgepoint Capital International repeated these figures in its announcement. They should be read as claims from Qevlar and its investor, rather than as independently validated benchmark results; no independent audit or third-party benchmark for these specific figures was identified.

What happened to Qevlar AI’s funding after 2025?

On 10 March 2026, Qevlar announced a $30 million round jointly led by Partech and Forgepoint Capital International, with EQT Ventures participating. The company said the new funding would help extend its platform beyond investigating individual alerts toward organization-level security insights. This was a later funding event; the $10 million headline refers specifically to the additional tranche announced in April 2025.
